How To Get A Treasure Map
There are a couple of ways that you can get Treasure Maps. The most reliable way is to use a Bus Station to travel to a Lost Isles location and defeat pirates until one drops. Alternatively, you can sometimes get a Treasure Map from fishing, and this is not restricted to Lost Isle locations.
Treasure Maps are a far rarer drop from fishing.
How To Use Treasure Maps
Once you’ve got a Treasure Map, you need to equip it to your offhand from your inventory. Using it will make a red arrow appear that will point you in the direction of the treasure.
An ‘X’ will also be marked on the map and your compass at the top of your screen, so you don’t have to keep using the map to make the arrow appear.
Once you reach the X that marks the spot, you’ll need a Shovel to be able to dig up the treasure. Inside will be a range of resources and materials, generally with some particularly rare items to be had.
