Two More Activision Games Are Coming to Game Pass

Call of Duty: World at War and Singularity could come to Xbox Game Pass next year, according to a new rumor. Both games were published by Activision, which Microsoft acquired in 2023 and has since made a focal point of its gaming subscription service. As such, it’s not a stretch to think that Xbox Game Pass will get two more Activision titles in 2025.

The Call of Duty series, in particular, has gotten a lot of attention on Xbox Game Pass lately. Black Ops 6 was a day-one release on the platform, and it’s rumored that nine classic COD titles could come to Xbox Game Pass after appearing on the Microsoft Store on PC. Whether that’s true or not has yet to be seen, but now there’s word that one more old franchise favorite will become available on the service, alongside the sci-fi shooter Singularity.

Xbox Game Pass Day One Game Confirmed for March 2025

Xbox Game Pass subscribers get a brand-new game on day one in March 2025 as a longstanding series makes a major return.

The rumor comes from leaker eXtras1s on Twitter, who has accurately predicted Game Pass titles in the past. On December 23, they pointed out that World at War was on the Microsoft Store for PC, which could indicate a future Xbox Game Pass release. According to them, World at War will come to the subscription service around May 2025, the same time they predict Singularity will arrive. Considering how World at War became one of the best-selling games on the Xbox store around the time of the Activision acquisition, it would make sense for Microsoft to use it and other Call of Duty games to drive players to Xbox Game Pass.

Activision Games Rumored for Xbox Game Pass

  • Call of Duty: World at War
  • Singularity

If World at War and Singularity do make it to Xbox Game Pass, they’d continue a strong trend of Activision titles popping up on the service. Microsoft has already released nine Activision Blizzard titles on Xbox Game Pass since its acquisition of the company. While there’s still no official word on whether Xbox will make these two classics available to subscribers, it would certainly make sense in light of this recent activity.

Phil Spencer said it would take time for Activision-Blizzard games to come to Xbox Game Pass back when Microsoft first acquired the company. It seems like the waiting period is over now, with additional Activision titles coming to the service regularly. Whether or when Call of Duty: World at War and Singularity will join these ranks is uncertain, but it does seem likely that Xbox Game Pass users will get their hands on them eventually. For now, they’ll have to wait and see.
