The next Double XP Weekend is expected to start on Tuesday, December 24th. While the date is yet to be officially confirmed, it was leaked by the in-game ‘Events’ tab.
A Double XP Weekend event landing in the middle of the week is a rare occurrence, but it looks like the devs are dropping it as a Christmas gift for players. Just like the start date, the event’s end date is yet to be confirmed.

During Double XP Weekends players typically receive Double XP, Double Weapon XP, Double Battle Pass XP and Double GobbleGum earn rate.
These events are the perfect opportunity for players looking to gain a few levels or level up their prestige. The increased XP rates also mean that you can progress through the Battle Pass quicker. Perhaps the best part of the event is Double Weapon XP which lets you unlock your desired attachments faster.
Double GobbleGum earn rate is exclusive to Zombies and it lets you earn twice as many GobbleGums while playing on any of three maps. These items are used to activate special powers that can help survive rounds and demolish hordes of zombies. Naturally, having an increased spawn rate for these items helps massively while hunting for Easter eggs.
