Summary
- RGG is telling Yakuza fans to sit on Majima’s lap this Christmas, and they’re reacting exactly as you’d expect…
- Lots of barking. Lots and lots of barking.
RGG Studios knows exactly what the people want.
It just told Yakuza fans on Twitter, “C’mere and sit on Majima’s lap to tell him what ye want fer Maji-mas”. If you’ve ever met a Majima fan (I work with one, trust me), you’ll know how feral they go for this one-eyed washboard with a knife.
Cue The Thirsting
If you don’t ask for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, “he might throw ye overboard”, but y’know what, that’s fine. “I mean he can throw me overboard regardless,” @quelseydilla replied.
Others aren’t as fussed about asking him for anything. They’re here for his lap, and maybe a bit extra. “Oh I will do more than just sit on it,” @awkeshyu added.
BARK BAKR BAKERBKRIROROR — majimaculo
“I just wanted to sit on Majima’s lap, thank you very much,” @Cogachez said. Nice to have different perspectives, eh?
All I Want For Maji-mas Is You (Santa Majima)
Let’s move away from the… thirsty fans. If you want to celebrate Maji-mas in style, download Yakuza 0 and grab the Santa Majima mod.

Developed by modder Hex back in 2021, it adds his costume from Yakuza 5, allowing you to play through the entire game and all of its emotional storybeats while dressed up as a cheap mall Santa.
It pairs really well with this other mod from SamuraiOndo, which puts Kiryu in a Santa costume to match. It even adds snow to the game, giving it a nice and festive Maji-mas overhaul.
