Genshin Impact: Brightcrown Mountains Anemoculus Locations

Brightcrown Mountains is the last area players will visit in Genshin Impact’s first region, Mondstadt. This is because most of the area will be blocked by a wind barrier before completing the early objectives in the third chapter of the Archon Quest Prologue.

The 20 Anemoculi found in this area are the hardest to get in Mondstadt due to the involvement of excessive climbing and obscure locations. Luckily for you, this guide will cover the locations of all the Anemoculi in Brightcrown Mountains.

The first Anemoculus in Brightcrown Mountains is an easy one to obtain as you can go forward from the teleport waypoint near the Cecilia Garden domain. Make your way to the elevated cliff near the coast of Cider Lake to find the Anemoculus on top of the tree in this location.

Continue forward from the previous location until you spot breakable stones. Use a Claymore character to make quick work of the rubble to collect this Anemoculus hidden behind it.

Teleport back to the waypoint near the Cecilia Garden domain and make your way to the tip of the pointed cliff on the map. The Anemoculus can be found right on the edge of this cliff.

From this point in the guide, all the Anemoculus mentioned can only be collected after Venti dispels the barrier surrounding Stormterror’s Lair in the third chapter of the Archon Quest. Progress through the quest till you unlock the Statue of the Seven in this area.

Climb the building to find the Anemoculus as well as a Luxurious Chest. Climbing to the very top of the building grants the “Remains of the Gale” achievement.

You can collect this Anemoculus while breaking the Stormterror Lair’s seals in the Archon Quest. Go to the north-west part of Stormterror’s Lair and climb the pillar near the light guiding ceremony to obtain it.

To collect this Anemoculus, glide from the Statue of the Seven to the highlighted location so you can easily land on the elevated cliff. After reaching this cliff, jump from its edge to collect the floating Anemoculus.

Go to the teleport waypoint in the south-west section of Stormterror’s Lair. You can find the Anemoculus on top of a tree.

Head out of Stormterror’s Lair by teleporting to the Cecilia Garden domain. Head west towards the path that leads to Stormterror’s Lair to spot the Anemoculus between the ravine.

This is a simple Anemoculus to collect provided you have enough stamina. If you do, simply climb up the pillar near the north-west teleport waypoint in Stormterror’s Lair. Otherwise, you can simply glide down from the top of Stormterror’s Lair to get the Anemoculus.

This is one of the most tricky Anemoculus to find in Genshin Impact. You may believe the Anemoculus to be on top of the cliff, judging by the mini-map marker. However, you have to shimmy your way across to a pillar that can’t be climbed, close to the north-east teleport waypoint in Stormterror’s Lair.

There will be a small alcove that you can rest in to get enough height for the jump onto the pillar. From here, simply climb up the pillar and drop to the bottom to collect the Anemoculus.

Teleport to the south-west waypoint in Stormterror’s Lair and go behind to find an Anemo Monument on a cliff. Activate it to create speed-boosting rings that will lead you to the Anemoculus.

This is one of the simpler Anemoculus to get in Stormterror’s Lair. Go south from the south-west waypoint and find the wind current that will lead you to a cliff. Jump down from the cliff to find a pillar housing the Anemoculus.

The next three Anemoculi, starting with this one, can be found in proximity to the center of Stormterror’s Lair. The mini-map markers will be confusing for the three of them. The first one, which will be marked the northernmost, is under the cliff where some Hilichurls can be spotted on the stairs leading to the top of the building.

The westernmost marked Anemoculus is between rocks past the Hilichurl camps with wooden huts and stairs.

The last Anemoculus near the center of Stormterror’s Lair is on the level below the Statue of the Seven. Defeat the Ruin Guard to have an easier time obtaining it.

This Anemoculus can be found by going down the cliff from the Brightcrown Canyon teleport waypoint. Ride the wind current to propel yourself through the speed rings to get the Anemoculus.

Glide down from the Brightcrown Canyon teleport waypoint to collect this Anemoculus, which is enclosed by an Anemo barrier, meaning it can only be grabbed by going inside it from the top.

Continue forward until you come across some ruins protected by a Ruin Guard. Walk up the stairs to find breakable stones hiding the Anemoculus. You can also light up the three torches with a Pyro character to get an Exquisite Chest.

This Anemoculus is high up in the air and requires you to activate an Anemo Monument. Go to the highlighted area inside Stormterror’s Lair to find the Anemo Monument and use the wind current to obtain the Anemoculus

The final Anemoculus in Brightcrown Mountains is on one of the many cliffs surrounding the path leading to Stormterror’s Lair. You will have to climb the set of cliffs on the western side of the path until you spot the Anemoculus near the edge of one such cliff.
