Fortnite Typhoon Blade – How to Get It

Fortnite Chapter 6 has a lot of fun weapons, but one of the most unique is the Typhoon Blade. This is one of the most exciting weapons we’ve seen. There’s a lot to like with it. It has an amazing Melee combo, benefits to stamina, tons of reasons to carry one. However, it’s also one of those pesky weapons that’s difficult to track down.

A lot of weapons can be reliant a bit much on RNG. Players have to go out of their way to track them down. When it’s an important tool like the Fortnite Typhoon Blade though, it’s tricky. A lot of players might feel like it’s one of the Fortnite Chapter 6 weapons that’s a must-carry. If you want to track one down every game, this is where you can find them:

Where to Find the Fortnite Typhoon Blade

The Fortnite Typhoon Blade is available in a few set places, these are the locations and how you’ll find it more reliably:

Sword Stand Spawns

One of the most reliable locations for the blade is the stands special. It’s available in the themed POIs. They look similar to Chapter 4’s Kinetic Blade stands. You’ll find guaranteed ones at locations at Nightshift Forrest and the secret vault.

Chests

There are some guaranteed spawns, but you can take your chances with RNG too. You can find a blade on the floor or chests, like any other loot. This is a much more unreliable place to get one, but you can luck out. It could be a lucky enough start to make a good omen for winning that Fortnite game once you’re looted up.

Mythic Fortnite Typhoon Blade

The final definitive place to grab a Fortnite Typhoon Blade is with the Chapter 6 Mythics! There’s a boss who dies and drops a Fortnite Typhoon Blade. Take out the Shogun X boss and you’ll be able to get a medallion, mythic mask, and Typhoon Blade.

The smaller versions of the Shogun boss can occasionally drop one too. But that’s a bit more RNG than going for the major boss!

That’s where you can find one. This is one of the best items in Fortnite Chapter 6, so it’s definitely worth heading for in each game. They probably won’t decide who wins a tournament or effect Fortnite betting, but in pubs it’s a really useful tool.
