Clash Royale December 2024 update explained

New Tower Troop: Royal Chef

Just when thought Clash Royale might have forgotten about Tower Troops in the midst of Card Evolutions, it introduced its first offensive Tower Troop, the Royal Chef. This will be a Legendary card and becomes available in Arena 13.

The Royal Chef levels up your highest HP troop by 1 every 18 seconds, but when attacking, the ability takes up to 30 seconds to activate. His ability prioritizes troops that haven’t been levelled up yet and only works on troops with at least 20% of their total HP remaining.

Pass Royale gets an upgrade

Starting next season in January, the Pass Royale will make earning Lucky Drops much easier. Once you complete the Pass, every Crown you earn will grant you one Lucky Drop daily.

Depending on the season’s length, you can unlock between 28 and 35 Lucky Drops in total. Lucky Drops also stack, so if you finish the Pass early, you’ll have all the accumulated Drops waiting for you to claim. Additionally, a new timer will let you know when your next Lucky Drop is ready to unlock.

More Cosmetics in Lucky Drops

Now, Lucky Drops include even more cosmetic rewards. Keep an eye out for new items to customize your gameplay experience. Also, Baby Goblins are being removed from the game, with compensation provided for Gold and Elite Wild Cards used to upgrade them.
