Eagle-eyed gamers online believe they have identified all the main cast members in Naughty Dog’s upcoming game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. While very little is known about the game so far, most of these actors who make an appearance in the Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet trailer are unmistakable.
Naughty Dog revealed Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet at The Game Awards 2024, taking a sci-fi approach with its newest title. Set in the distant future, the game seemed to be a refreshing change for the studio, marking its first new IP since 2013’s The Last of Us. Naughty Dog has produced some of the most iconic franchises in gaming, from the aforementioned The Last of Us to the likes of Crash Bandicoot, Jak and Daxter, and Uncharted. Now, it’s hoping lightning can strike a fifth time with Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

At around 1:25 in the Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet trailer, players are given a glimpse of a group photo. In it is the titular character, Jordan, who is confirmed to be played by Gabrielle. However, a Reddit thread by user ERASER345 has also identified a few other faces in the image. Sitting next to Jordan is a character who looks just like Tony Dalton, best known for his role as Lalo Salamanca in Better Call Saul. To the left of Jordan, there is another character who is clearly portrayed by Kumail Nanjiani. On the far right, sits a character who appears to be played by Bosch: Legacy‘s Stephen A. Chang.
Most of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet’s Main Cast Has Been Identified
A fifth female actor also appears in the image, although no one could quite nail down exactly who she was. Some speculated that it could be Kelly Reilly (Yellowstone), while other names that appeared included Jessica Chastain and Ashley Scott (of The Last of Us). It remains to be seen when new details about Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet will emerge, so hopefully, Naughty Dog can confirm the identity of this specific actor. While these characters don’t appear in the trailer, it’s unlikely Naughty Dog would cast such prominent actors if they weren’t going to play a significant role in the game’s narrative.
Given Naughty Dog’s history of critically acclaimed titles, it’s fair to call the announcement of Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet one of the big highlights of The Game Awards. The studio’s last game was The Last of Us Part 2 in 2020, so there has been a considerable wait for a new one. Gamers’ patience has been rewarded with one of the most exciting upcoming titles from around the industry.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Propher follows Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on Sempiria – a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe went dark hundreds of years ago. In fact, anyone who’s flown to it hoping to unravel its mysterious past was never heard from again. Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.
