The excursion doesn’t go quite as planned, as you might expect. During the quest, there are some tricky puzzles, including one that involves a cipher in a captain’s office. You’ll also come up against a load of Nazis who are more heavily armed than you might be used to.

Indiana Jones And The Great Circle: Boxing Champion Location Guide
There are nine boxing champions to find in Indiana Jones And The Great Circle and their locations are quite hidden.
Since the puzzle and labyrinth of corridors can be quite confusing, a walkthrough of the whole quest will be helpful. It’ll mean you’re not wasting time getting stuck on puzzles that are actually pretty simple.
Reaching The Ship
Once you reach the snowy Himalayas section, follow Gina up the hill, traversing dodgy cliffs and broken bridges. Once you’re under the ship, looking up at it, use your whip to climb up, then help Gina up behind you.
Once you’re both on top of the first section, you’ll then fall through the ice into the bowels of the ship and will begin your journey through it to find the stone you’re searching for.
Finding Gina’s Sister
Now, you need to try and find any source of Gina’s sister being on the ship. Follow the corridors through and you’ll find a room with ice blocking the door. There’s a metal pole in a small room back down the corridor you came down, so grab that and smash the ice.
In that room, you’ll find a wheel connected to a man’s frozen arm. After a short cutscene, keep going until you get into a room full of pipes, climb the stairs and follow the walkway round and go through the door. Then, crouch and go through the vent. Drop down and move the yellow pipe to start a cutscene involving Gina’s sister.
We don’t want to spoil it incase you’re not there yet, but do not skip this cutscene. It is one of the best in the game and sets up the rest of the main story.
Traversing the Ship
Now, you’ll suddenly be attacked by Nazis, so take them out and climb the ladder. Follow Gina through the rooms, being sure to take a photo of the radio room in there, and you’ll reach a big set of rooms with enemies in.
The easiest thing to do is take them out quietly or sneak past. After doing so, you’ll be in a room with the ship’s anchor. Climb up the ladder on the left, then look at the chain. You can pull it with the whip to break the first part of the chain.
Now, head to the bottom of the room and yank the second clamp to break the chain. Now head back up the ladder and follow the pipe back to the outside. Climb along the pipes and up the ladder.
You’ll now be on the main deck of the ship, so take out the Nazis and follow along to the lifeboat and head inside the ship again.
To get back inside, you’ll need to head up the stairs outside and take out a couple more bad guys who are lurking inside.
How To Solve Captain’s Cipher
You’ll then reach the Captain’s office where the main puzzle of the quest is found. There’s a captain’s code note on the main table saying JOGM
and a code table with lots of four-digit numbers and four-letter words.
On the side table in the room there’s another code table and a cipher and four discs. You need to put the discs in so that you can spell JOGM.
Only select discs will have one of the letters on, so take a look and put them in the slots that have the right letters. For example, only one disc will have the letter J on.
Spelling JOGM with the discs that will show BLUT in the four letters below. You now need to find BLUT on the code tables, which is represented by 3666.
Therefore, put 3666 into the lock on the door and that’ll open it. Climb the ladder and open the door and man in the corner has the stone you and Gina are looking for. There’s a cutscene of you fighting over it and then a senior nazi shoots a gun in the air to stop it all.
After an explosion, the cliff will start to collapse and the ship will begin to fall into the ice. You then need to run along the ship as it falls and you then use the stone and fall into a portal to somewhere unexpected.
