Bang Bang (MLBB) reveals 2025 Esports Roadmap highlighting M7 World Championship, MCGG esports, and more

MOONTON’s popular MOBA, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), revealed the esports roadmap for 2025 today at MSummit Kuala Lumpur. As the 2024 esports year is on the verge of wrapping its journey, the title already has big plans for the upcoming year. As a result, the esports roadmap came out following the trend the game has been chasing over the years.

MLBB esports roadmap is packed with competitive events throughout 2025

The esports roadmap shared that next year will be packed with several competitive events. The game will commence its two flagship events: The M Series Championship and MSC. Besides, the other regional leagues and third-party events will continue following the successful completion from 2024.

The MSC 2025 will take place from mid-July to early August. But the stairs to reach these major leagues, the MLBB Professional League (MPL), will take place in a half-yearly esports circuit. The first half of MPL will run from early March to late June. And, the second split will take place between August to November.

There will be third-party events backed by the title itself. This will include the Snapdragon Pro Series that is delivered by ESL FACEIT Group (EFG) and Qualcomm Technologies Inc. The Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Challenge Finals will take place in February, followed by the Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters in April, and the Snapdragon Pro Series New Season from August to November.

The M7 World Championship will kick off in January 2026

The very first thing to cross your eyes will be the shift of M7 from December to January. The exact location is not announced yet, we have to wait till the 15th of December to know the location.

MOONTON has grabbed a very strong position in diversifying the esports ecosystem. It also brought the balance among the teams. As proof, this M6 is the first event to see four teams from different regions reach the Semi-Finals. The esports year for 2025 will end with the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2025 in Thailand. It will take place in December and will include both male and female events.

MLBB esports is expanding to China, with the inaugural Chinese League in works

MOONTON officials are excited as they share the news of expansion in the next year. One of the global gaming hubs and a big market, China, will be approached.

And to hype the fans more, MOONTON also plans to create an esports ecosystem for Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) after its official launch next year. It will start with Indonesia and then have a plan to expand in the SEA countries. The publisher already started collaborating with several platforms to bring the game to the surface of esports.
