Does Game Pass have Path of Exile 2?
Right now, Path of Exile 2 is not available on Game Pass. It is technically not available in wide release at all. Currently, you can get the game on early access for a $33 price tag. However, when it does get a wide release, the game will see a change in price.
Instead of going up, though, Path of Exile 2‘s cost will go down significantly. The early access period is for sale, but the game is slated to be free-to-play in 2025. That goes for all platforms, which includes PC, MacOS, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. When it lands there, it still won’t be on Game Pass, though.
This is because it’s already free to play. The games on Game Pass are not. The idea behind the subscription is to get games “for free” (a.k.a. a monthly fee) that would otherwise cost. When a game doesn’t cost as it is, like Fortnite or Marvel Rivals, there’s no need for it to go to any subscription service.
Unfortunately, console players do have to wait a little while longer for the game, but they won’t have to pay anything, neither a Game Pass subscription nor a purchasing fee, when it does become available. As a reward for their patience, console gamers will save $33 on one of the most exciting new games to come out in a while.
