  • Fans anticipate an official reveal of the collaboration event shortly before its December 17 start date.

Overwatch 2 has seemingly revealed Katara Mei as a sixth skin from its upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration event. This skin is ostensibly joining at least five other skins featuring Aang and his friends in the Overwatch 2 x Avatar: The Last Airbender crossover coming to the game on December 17.

Recently, Overwatch 2 confirmed an Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration was coming during Season 14. Mere hours after the announcement, five skins for the Avatar crossover with Overwatch 2 were discovered: Aang Zenyatta, Zuko Genji, Toph Venture, Suki Kiriko, and Appa Orisa.

Overwatch 2 throws an unexpected change for Bastion into its content update for Season 14 that fans have been requesting for over two years.

However, it seems like there might be a sixth skin coming in this collaboration. Overwatch 2 fan and Redditor Bartybrattle recently spotted an advertisement for the upcoming Avatar crossover on the PlayStation store, seemingly added accidentally ahead of the official reveal. The image they shared shows what appears to be the key art for the crossover, featuring artistic renditions of most of the previously leaked skins. That said, Mei dressed up as Katara can also be seen in the background, who was nowhere to be seen in the original batch of leaks.

All Leaked Overwatch 2 x Avatar Skins

  • Katara Mei
  • Aang Zenyatta
  • Zuko Genji
  • Toph Venture
  • Suki Kiriko
  • Appa Orisa

While this ad is not solid confirmation of the skins from the upcoming Avatar x Overwatch 2 collaboration, it is pretty close to it. Most of the skins from the last leak appear in this new image as well, corroborating their legitimacy. Toph Venture cannot be seen in the picture, but Overwatch 2 already confirmed that skin was real in a post on Twitter – it is possible they simply could not fit in the cropped image as it appeared in the leaked ad, and will show up in the full version.

Assuming these leaks are real, this will be the first time Overwatch 2 ever had six skins in a collaboration event. Previous crossovers typically had four or five, with those of the latter size often giving out one of the skins for free via in-game challenges, while the others were available in the shop. It remains to be seen how these new skins will be acquired, but at least one – likely Appa Orisa – will probably be obtainable for free during the Overwatch 2 x Avatar event.

Luckily, players won’t have to wait long to find out. The Overwatch 2 x Avatar: The Last Airbender collaboration is set to begin on December 17, meaning fans can expect an official reveal no later than a day or two before then. Players will soon see if these leaks were real – and if there are any more unrevealed skins in the Overwatch 2 x Avatar: The Last Airbender event.
