Path of Exile 2 is a deep and complex ARPG, and for any newcomers to the series, these beginner tips will help them get started on their journey.
How Many Character Slots Are There In Path of Exile 2
In total, players can have 24 characters active at one time on an account. There are no limitations when choosing what each of those 24 characters looks like, meaning you could theoretically create 24 of the same class and build it 24 different times if you want, but respecting may be the better option if you want to do that. This number of character slots may seem like a lot in early access when you only have six classes to choose from, but once there are twelve you’ll feel more limited if you want to try multiple builds on every class.
While you can buy more character slots, you can also delete characters anytime while in the character selection screen. When hovering over the character you want to delete, the deletion button will appear at the bottom of the screen. All you have to do is confirm the command to permanently delete the character and free up the character slot.
Any gear you wish to save from a character you plan on deleting can be put in your Stash to give to another character later on as long as they are
in the same league
