NetEase Games has announced the upcoming release of their open-world Wuxia RPG, Where Winds Meet, scheduled to launch on Android and iOS in early 2025. Developed by Everstone Studio, the game was first revealed in April 2024 with a limited beta test for PC taking place in the same month. It is also launching on PC in China on December 27, 2024.

Where Winds Meet is an open-world action–adventure RPG set during the turbulent Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms era of ancient China, in this game, you are a young martial artist exploring a land torn by war and territorial disputes. However, you will also get to explore a world rich in culture and prosperity, where heroes rise and legends are forged.
What caught my attention is how the world features realistic physical conditions, real-time weather, and real consequences, along with nature and society, giving a dynamic gaming experience.
The game lets you explore an immersive open world full of thrilling adventures, unknown dangers, and mysterious wonders, from the tranquil countryside and bustling cities to majestic wilderness, hidden caves, and treacherous canyons, and freely participate in this living history.
Define your fighting style and master the Wuxia martial arts
The most interesting and exciting part of the game is its original Wuxia combat, thanks to which you can master Chinese martial arts. You will have the freedom to create your fighting style and unlock epic combat techniques such as Acupuncture Hitting, Lion’s Roar, Merciful Picking, and Tai Chi, where you can fully counter an enemy’s attack and turn it back on.
Apart from this, you can also engage in close combat using weapons like the spear, long swords, and twin blades, as well as perform long-range attacks with a lethal bow and arrow. Leaving combat aside, you can also choose to be a doctor or a merchant to increase your chance of survival in the game.
