Fortnite is giving players an opportunity to snag themselves a brand new skin for free by simply connecting their Epic and Lego accounts. While previously the Explorer Emilie character was available this way, now Mr Dappermint is also on offer and you’ll get both their normal and Lego form skin too.

There must be hundreds of skins in Fortnite by now, but you probably don’t see these rare skins very often.
All you have to do to earn the skin is link your Lego Insiders account to your Epic account and then, on December 10, 2024, the new skin will be inside your locker. If you’re not sure how to do that, we’ve got it all covered right here.
How To Link Your Lego Insider And Epic Accounts
Sign In Or Set Up A Lego Insiders Account
First of all, you want to sign in or sign up for a Lego Insiders account via the Lego website. It’s entirely free to sign up!
Lego Insiders is a free loyalty program that gives special rewards and offers to those who sign up. You must have an email address and be over the age of 18 to sign up.
Sign In To Your Epic Account And Link The Two Accounts
Sign in to your Epic account, go to your ‘Account’ settings, and choose ‘Apps And Accounts’. Select the Lego Account and link the two.
Once you’ve done this, Explorer Emilie should be available now and all you have to do is wait until December 10 to receive your Mr Dappermint skin!
It hasn’t been revealed how long the free skin promotion will last, so it’s best to link your accounts sooner rather than later to avoid missing out.
What Happens If You Already Own Mr Dappermint?
It hasn’t been confirmed yet whether there will be any compensation for players who already own Mr Dappermint, though sometimes in the past Epic has given V-bucks to those who already own a skin in similar situations. We’ll update this article when we have more information.
