Where are the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle keys? Some are a lot better hidden than others, and finding them will reward you with access to new locations, bundles of money, and ability-unlocking books. They’re well worth seeking out, so here’s a full list of the lot.
Much like you do in other action-adventure games, you’ll spend a lot of your time in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle hunting for secrets. However, you’ll often come across locked doors with no obvious means of getting around them. That’s where the hidden keys come in.
All Indiana Jones and the Great Circle keys
Here is every key in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and the missions you’ll find them in.
All The Vatican keys
As you might expect from a location that’s all doors and hallways, The Vatican features more keys than any other open area in the game.
How to find the Rampart Key
Location: The Rampart key is the first key you find in The Vatican. Climb the first building you encounter in the castle and into the room via the window. Then go down the stairs and drop down into the room at the bottom. The key is hanging on the wall.
What it opens: Finding the Rampart Key allows you to open doors around the first castle section.
How to find the Blackshirt Key
Location: You get the Blackshirt key a long time after finding the door it unlocks. Once you’re in the main part of the Vatican, after the castle, simply carry on with the story. After meeting Gina on a balcony and looking up at Voss’ airship, you can take a zipline back down. Turn around after your trip on the zipline and you’ll see a gap in the fence you can crouch under. Jump down and take out the three Nazis and you’ll see the Blackshirt Uniform on a chair. This disguise makes the rest of the Vatican section much easier. The Blackshirt key comes with it.
What it opens: There’s a door just to the right as you first enter the main part of the castle, and a room outside the main courtyard’s wall, in a small camp.
How to find the Guard House Key
Location: In the first section of the castle before The Vatican, there’s a two-story building on your left. Keep going until you see a security door on your left. The key is hanging up in there.
What it opens: There are three doors in and around that building, and the Guard House Key opens all of them.
How to find the Captain’s Key
Location: From the locked gate, turn around and head up the stairs to your right. Turn right again and there’ll be a captain in his office. The key is hanging up in there.
What it opens: A gate in the castle that allows you to progress towards the main part of The Vatican.
How to find the Clerical Key
Location: Once you’ve opened the door in Antonio’s library and made it to the bottom, he’ll give you the key. Keep following the story quest if you haven’t found it yet.
What it opens: Various doors around the Clerical sections in The Vatican.
How to find the Burial Chamber Key
Location: Found in the Vatican Underworld after completing the Sacred Wounds puzzle, next to a skeleton.
What it opens: The next door to progress, just outside the room you found the key in.
How to find the Sewers Key
Location: Antonio hands it over after you complete the Sacred Wounds section and bring him the scroll.
What it opens: It’s used to open doors in the Mad Priest Fieldwork side quest.
All Gizeh key locations
Here are all the keys in Gizeh.
How to find the Discarded Key
What it opens: When close to the village in Gizeh, you’ll spot a small red building. If you get close to it, you’ll hear a man shouting to be let out. You need the Discarded Key to help him.
Location: It’s in a bird’s nest on the roof of the building the man is trapped in. You need to climb onto the roof by finding the white marking next to the side of the building where the camels are.
How to find the Haunted Crypt Key
Location: Next to the old village with Nawal and the blue tent, you’ll see a small restricted area that’s blocked by Nazis. You can creep in through a gap in the fence and the key is in one of the two tents.
What it opens: Down the hill from the restricted area, there’s a small ruin with Nazi trucks in front of it. They won’t go in because they think it’s haunted. You can use the key to open a gate at the wall of the ruin.
How to find the Wehrmacht Key
Location: This is one of the toughest to find in the game. After escaping the collapsed tunnel with Gina and Nawal, you’ll see a Nazi watchtower to your left. Here you’ll find the Wehrmacht disguise and the key. Since the disguise allows you to explore restricted areas mostly unnoticed, it’s vital to get it when you can.
What it opens: The Wehrmacht key opens various locked doors in Nazi camps throughout Gizeh.
All Sukhothai key locations
Here are all the keys in Sukhothai.
How to find the Equipment Room Key
Location: You’ll find the key during the Monkey Business Mystery in Sukhothai. From the boat dock, head right and over a wall. Then, through a swamp, you’ll see the camp to the right of some small ruins.
What it opens: In the restricted camp area in the middle of Sukhothai, you’ll enter a two-story building. You’ll find a note for the Monkey Business Mystery and a locked door. Follows the quest to find the key.
How to find the Royal Army Key
Location: We are yet to find the Royal Army Key, but we’ll update this section as soon as we have more info.
What it opens: There is a gate in the enemy camp at the far north of Sukhothai, in the tent at the back.
All Iraq key locations
Iraq isn’t a large area, though it still contains one collectible key.
How to find the Storage Room Key
You will need to get Gina out of the Storage Room. After beating a wave of enemies, you’ll find the key on a desk in that same room.
Find all of those keys and you should have access to every room and be able to open every door in The Great Circle.
