How To Find Shogun X
Unlike typical encounters, this boss doesn’t have a fixed spawn location. At the start of each match, the location of Shogun X is marked on the map with a Silver Oni mask icon. This marks the first phase of the encounter.
After defeating him here, Shogun X will disappear and return. His second location will be marked with a Red Oni mask icon, indicating his new spawn point. To reach him this time, you’ll need to utilize nearby Air Sprites to ascend to a floating island where the battle resumes.
If you missed him at his first location, don’t worry, you can still fight him at his second appearance.
How To Defeat Shogun X
Defeating Shogun X requires strategy and preparation, as his moveset can quickly overwhelm you if you are unprepared. Engaging him at a distance is crucial.
Shogun X wields a sword and uses a dashing slash attack that can deal significant damage if you’re too close. Additionally, he can launch devastating fireballs that you’ll want to avoid at all costs. To complicate things further, Shogun X frequently teleports across the battlefield, making it essential to keep moving and maintain distance.
Sprinting to reposition
and
creating space
will give you better opportunities to aim and fire. Focus on
targeting his head
for maximum damage, and ensure you
bring an ample supply of ammunition
to sustain the fight.
What Are The Shogun X Boss Rewards?
Your victory against this boss will net you three items: the Legendary Fire Oni Mask, the Wanderer Medallion, and the Golden Typhoon Blade.
The Legendary Fire Oni Mask functions like its Epic counterpart but offers increased ammo capacity. The Wanderer Medallion provides infinite stamina and grants invisibility while sprinting. Lastly, the Golden Typhoon Blade is an upgraded Mythic version of the Typhoon Blade, perfect if you thrive in melee combat.
