The calendar has flipped over to the final month of the year, and Microsoft has now announced the next set of additions to Game Pass for December. This is the first of two expected waves of additions to Game Pass for December, and the first half of the month’s biggest launch is, of course, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (December 9).
Developed by MachineGames, The Great Circle is a single-player, first-person adventure game that takes places between the events of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, in the year 1937.
PC Game Pass members can take advantage of a $1 two-week trial to play The Great Circle at the lowest possible price.
Also headed to Game Pass in December is the kart racing game Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (December 4) and Forza Motorsport (December 4), the latter of which was already available for Game Pass Ultimate members but is now being added to the Game Pass Standard catalog.
Game Pass Core, the least expensive Game Pass tier with the smallest number of games overall, is adding three more titles on December 4. These include the aforementioned Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, as well as Day Z and Goat Simulator.
Curiously, Microsoft also announced two games coming in January 2025–Carrion and Road 96–but nothing between December 10 and the end of the year. Some are theorizing Microsoft may have some additional Game Pass announcements on tap, and potentially being saved for The Game Awards, which take place December 12.
Whatever the case, be sure to check back with GameSpot for all the latest Game Pass announcements.
In terms of removals, Microsoft announced all 13 titles being removed in December all at once as opposed to splitting them up in waves. You can see the full list of Game Pass removals for December here.
