Key Takeaways
- A new Starfield mod overhauls Shattered Space into a Star Wars game.
- It currently works by converting enemies and NPCs into Star Wars characters.
- It even turns one of the planets into Korriban.
A Starfield modder is completely overhauling the Shattered Space DLC, turning it into an original Star Wars game. The mod, which is currently a work in progress, won’t only change the assets to look like they’re from Star Wars, but will eventually alter the dialogue too.
As spotted by DSOGaming, the mod can be downloaded in its current form over on Nexus Mods. Star Wars – Sith Empire Shattered Space Conversion by Nexus user DeityVengy currently overhauls character models and names, while also making changes to the environments. Further additions are on the way.
Starfield Mod Turns Shattered Space Into A Star Wars Game
We don’t have many details on the project just yet, other than that the modder wants to turn Shattered Space into a “fully fledged Star Wars story involving the Sith Empire”. In future updates, this will include a full “story rewrite and revoice”, and the inclusion of a Sith temple with boss battles.
Right now, the mod adds a bunch of new armour for you to wear, and overhauls the enemies and other NPCs to look like they’re from Star Wars. It also turns Va’ruun’kai into Korriban, better fitting the Star Wars universe.

I Like The Space Games No One Else Does, Apparently
Every so often, we get a space game. And just as often, people hate them. But I don’t think they’re so bad…
This all comes from the same modder who used more than 100 mods to turn the base game into a Star Wars experience. The results were absolutely incredible, so it’ll be interesting to see how the Shattered Space counterpart plays after some more work.
It’s not surprising at all to see modders take on these huge projects, since Bethesda games always amass a huge modding community. There are a little under 10,000 mods for Starfield available on Nexus right now, with almost 64 million downloads in total. As the years go on and Bethesda’s official updates slow down, we can expect this to rise even further, just as we’ve seen with the studio’s previous games.
Starfield is the first new IP from Bethesda in a quarter of a century, launched for the next-gen Xbox Series X|S and PC. Taking place outside our own Solar System, you play a member of the Constellation, a collective of explorers set on discovering new worlds.
