Delta Force Release Date

Delta Force will first be available on December 5, but only to PC players. This is part of the early access beta period. It was initially set to be released much later but was moved up after Steam Next Fest. The wide release for consoles and other platforms is not secure yet, but it is expected sometime during quarter one of 2025, so by April at the latest.

Platforms

As mentioned, players on PC can play the game. They will be the only ones playing Delta Force for a while, but they will eventually be joined by others. In the long run, it will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and of course, PC. Many games today are leaving the PS4 and Xbox One behind, but Delta Force is about as accessible as anything these days. It’s not available on mobile or on the Nintendo Switch, though.

Details

Delta Force is a currently unreleased first-person tactical shooter game similar to Call of Duty in some ways. It will be free-to-play like many others in the genre. The title was originally just Delta Force before adding a subtitle of Hawk Ops. It eventually reverted back to the original title. It is part of the eponymous series which began in 1998. Since then, there have been 11 releases in the franchise for a variety of platforms. The last one was in 2009, so it is a long-dormant franchise.

Delta Force Trailer

The first trailer gives an inside look at what the game will be. First, it shows updated graphics and gameplay in comparison to its predecessors. There are helicopters and more shown off in the cinematic, which shows off a stellar-looking campaign. It pits two sides of a global conflict against one another, with the player’s side tasked with preventing the end of the world against a rogue organization.
