*Denotes chance to be shiny

To complement the focus on raids, gamers can tackle new shadow Pokemon as Shadow Regirock, Shadow Regice, and Shadow Registeel will debut in the five-star Shadow Raids throughout the Dual Destiny season. Trainers who decide to tackle these legendary shadow Pokemon will have the chance to capture a shiny version for the first time. Last season saw the introduction of Dynamax and Gigantamax Pokemon. Although players are avoiding Max Battles in Pokemon GO, Dual Destiny will attempt to encourage players back with Dynamax versions of Machop and Krabby, with Lapras making its Gigantamax debut.

As well as the free bonuses in Pokemon GO, a paid pass will also be available each month. The Eggs-pedition ticket provides trainers additional timed research tasks along with an egg incubator for spinning their first Pokestop or Gym of the day. This will replace the daily Pokecoin ticket introduced during the Pokemon GO Max Out season, which may disappoint some players as the coins could be used on almost anything in the store.

Fans will no doubt be looking forward to the Dual Destiny season when it goes live on December 3. Along with the seasonal bonuses, players can take part in the game’s regular events to catch rarer monsters. Dates for the upcoming Pokemon GO events have been scheduled, although the featured Pokemon currently remain a mystery.
