The Best Chasca Builds In Genshin Impact

Chasca, the Anemo Bow user, was added in version 5.2 as part of the playable characters from Natlan. Here’s a detailed build guide for the unit if you decide to pull for her and are looking to deal the highest possible damage.

Best Chasca Builds

Chasca is an amazing unit that can deal a lot of damage. However, there are a few aspects of her kit that need to be discussed before jumping into the builds:

  • She can trigger all kinds of elemental reactions by herself as long as Pyro, Electro, Hydro, and Cryo units are present in the team. This makes her versatile, irrespective of the team composition.
  • She can fly in the air, which makes it very easy to dodge all kinds of ground attacks.
  • While Chasca is primarily a DPS, she can also function as the team’s Anemo driver, keeping her builds versatile.

The position of Chasca in the team will depend on how you use her. If she’s the main DPS, Chasca will take position 1, but if you use her as a driver, you can include a different damage dealer. Once you have decided on the playstyle, here are the builds you can follow to meet the requirements:

Chasca Main DPS

Artifact Set

Obsidian Codex

Weapons

Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage, Aqua Simulacra, Chain Breaker

While there are multiple ways to use Chasca, building her as a main DPS will be the most valuable. The most important part of her kit is the Elemental Skill where you can easily trigger all kinds of Reactions without the need to swap units. Additionally, building her as a DPS increases the damage of her Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, which increases her viability significantly.

Obsidian Codex is the best artifact for her as alongside the massive Nightsoul Bonus, the 40 percent Crit Rate from the four-piece set will make it easy to build her. Additionally, if you go for Chasca’s 5-star signature weapon, Astral Vulture’s Crimson Plumage, you’ll receive a lot of Crit DMG, significantly increasing Chasca’s damage output.

If you have Yelan’s 5-star signature weapon, the Aqua Simulacra, that is a good choice, as you receive a lot of Crit DMG and raw ATK power. Finally, you can also use the Chain Breaker 4-star craftable Bow from Natlan, as it provides massive ATK boosts, which is the second-best choice after Crit stats. Additionally, this weapon also provides Elemental Mastery from its passive, which provides a significant boost in damage.

Chasca Situational Build

Artifact Set

Viridescent Venerer

Weapons

Elegy of the End, Chain Breaker

While Chasca primarily functions as a DPS, you can use her Elemental Skill to Swirl elements. This can reduce the enemy’s resistance and thereby increase the damage for the other units in the team.

The Viridescent Venerer Artifact set is the best for this as it reduces the enemy’s resistance by 40 percent and provides a 60 percent boost to Swirl DMG. You’ll need to go for Elemental Mastery main stat on the Goblet, Sands, and Circlet, along with Crit and ATK on the substats.

Elegy of the End will be the best weapon in this case since Chasca gains a lot of Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge, which synergizes well with this particular build. Chain Breaker also works quite well with this build since you receive a lot of Elemental Mastery alongside the ATK stats from the weapon’s passive.

While the situational build is fine, it’s recommended you go for the main DPS build, as otherwise, you’ll miss out on a lot of Chasca’s potential as a unit.

Chasca Talent Overview and Priority

Chasca using her Elemental Skill in Genshin Impact.

Chasca is a pretty simple unit, but there are a few aspects of her kit that you should know for optimal usage. Here’s everything you need to know about her gameplay:

  • First, you need to move near an enemy. Unless you do this, her Elemental Skill won’t function.
  • Once you are close to an enemy, use your Elemental Skill to fly up. At this stage, point towards an enemy and hold your Attack button to charge up six bullets. The first two bullets will be Anemo, the third will have a chance to be a different element, and the final three will be an element from your party.
  • Once all the bullets are charged, you can shoot them at the enemy. This will create reactions on its own, and you won’t need to switch to other characters.
  • Her Elemental Burst is a nuke that you can use whenever the energy is full.

Chasca can only load Pyro, Electro, Hydro, and Cryo in her bullets. She doesn’t have any affinity for Dendro or Geo.

When it comes to priority, you should level up in the following order: Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > Normal Attack. The charged bullets from the Elemental Skill deal the most damage, so that should be your focus. Elemental Burst will be needed when fighting difficult enemies, though the Normal Attack isn’t necessary, and you can skip it or leave it at level 6.
