Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League’s $100 edition is $5, but be fast

You can grab Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League for just $5 on PC right now. Rocksteady’s canonical follow-up to the Batman Arkham series hasn’t won over many players since it launched at the start of this year, but if you’ve been on the fence about trying the live service co-op shooter, this new sale is the perfect chance to give it a shot.

Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League publisher Warner Bros deemed the game a “disappointment” earlier this year, and there were already sales that slashed the game’s price by up to 40%, but a deal of this scale is unprecedented. Knocking the $100 edition of the game to just $5, even for a short time, is unheard of so soon after launch.

Even so, the co-op game’s instantly dwindling playerbase and lack of widespread appeal – which has led to discounts of this magnitude – come from a few key places. Suicide Squad entered the live service market years too late, didn’t offer players enough reason to stick around, and came off the back of Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed single-player Batman Arkham games. Player expectations of Rocksteady’s next project were widely different than what the studio ended up making, and the genre Suicide Squad is trying to muscle into is already incredibly overcrowded. If you want to know what the game was like at launch, our 4/10 Suicide Squad review paints you a complete picture.

If you dive in today, though, there’s a whole lot more here than there was at launch, including three new playable characters. Now you can suit up as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, Joker, Mrs. Freeze, and Lawless. The newest season even adds a Batman Arkham Knight-looking Gotham City you can explore.

The game’s Digital Deluxe Edition also comes with Justice League-themed outfits for each member of the original squad, three Notorious Weapons, four Weapon Dolls, one Battle Pass Token, and four Color Swatches. So you’ve got a handful of customization options from the start.

Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League’s $100 Digital Deluxe Edition is 95% off on the Epic Games Store until Tuesday December 3, so expect to pay $4.99 / £4.49 until then. You’ll find it here.
