  • Three creatures fed in the ecosystem
  • Five Temperate Seeds planted in the ecosystem

Once all requirements are fulfilled, players must grow the Temperate Colossal Tree. Fulfilling these four tasks will complete the Sowing the Seed quest, but more work can be done with the Colossal Tree afterward.

Towers of Aghasba Unleash The Hunter Within Quest Guide - How To Hunt Skirtau

To feed creatures in Towers of Aghasba, players must first know what kind of food they like and will respond to. The easiest way to discover this is to use Shimuscope to observe the available creatures.

Make sure to speak with Pawel after planting the Colossal Seed to unlock the Shimuscope.

At first, players will see two creatures in their ecosystem:

Creature Name

Accepted Food

Appearance

Skirtau

Berries

Brown/orange small creature

Beetlepup

Roots

Green small creature

Link either Berries or Roots from the inventory to the Radial Wheel, then “equip” it on hand. Next, use the aim button to throw the Berries/Roots on the ground.

If there’s a nearby creature that accepts the food, a “link” between the animal and the food will appear. Wait until the creatures reach and eat the food, and they’ll jump happily, granting you Amity and other drops such as Dung or Seeds.

Make sure to feed the creatures within the ecosystem. Feeding animals outside the area won’t count for the task.

Once you complete the ecosystem requirements, you can grow the Temperate Colossal Tree to level two by giving Sprite 15 Amity and 10 Dung. You get Amity by performing “good” things like planting seeds, feeding animals, or destroying Withered Roots. Meanwhile, Dung typically appears after a creature is fed, although some animals also poop when they get startled.

You don’t have to give all the items at once; it’s fine to submit the ones that are available first.
