In terms of VRR, the monitor comes with Adaptive Sync, though there is no official Nvidia G-Sync support. There is also motion blur reduction and low input lag mode to prevent blurry visuals and ghosting, a common problem at such high refresh rates. Games like Counter Strike 2 and Valorant that benefit from the highest possible frame rates and don’t demand a high-performance gaming PC are best experienced on monitors like the AGON PRO AG276FK.

For connectivity, you get two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, a USB hub, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It should be noted that the 520Hz refresh rate is only supported over DisplayPort, as HDMI 2.0 is limited to 240Hz at 1080p.

AOC AGON PRO AG276FK: Price and Availability

AOC is selling the monitor in the UK at £500 (approx. $635) but it is unclear when it will arrive in the western market. Currently, AOC has a 25-inch 360Hz 1080p monitor and a 27-inch 280Hz curved 1080p option in its portfolio.

As for 500Hz and higher refresh rate, the options are limited. The 25-inch Alienware AW2524HF can be overclocked to 500Hz, while the ASUS ROG Swift Pro PG248QP can be overclocked to 540Hz. The BenQ Zowie XL2586X, on the other hand, supports 540Hz, making it the fastest refreshing monitor on the market, but it comes with a TN panel. The LG UltraGear 32 is a 4K monitor that can run at 1080p 480Hz, but it costs over $1000. In fact, except for the Alienware monitor, all the aforementioned high refresh rate monitors are quite expensive, making the AOC offering a seriously affordable option.
