Marshadow is the only Pokemon on this list that isn’t part of the Legendary or Ultra Beast category, but it’s still a very rare find. The Mythical creature was only available during Pokemon Go Fest 2024 as a ticket-exclusive catch, meaning players are still waiting for its full release.

It has a lot of competition in the Fighting-type category, but Marshadow is one of the best attackers of its type thanks to its high ATK stat. What’s more, being super rare makes it an unpredictable choice.

However, you’ll need to be careful when picking Nihilego in Pokemon Go’s PvP. The Ultra Beast is weak to Steel-type attacks, which are very common in the game, and can take massive damage from Ground-type moves, so keep that in mind.

Tapu Koko

The Electric/Fairy-type Legendary Pokemon packs a punch and has decent bulk to help you both in PvE and PvP. Nature’s Madness is a great Fairy-type attack for dealing with Dragon types. It charges quickly and it lowers your opponent’s Defense by 20%, which is always useful.

You’ll find other Electric-type Pokemon best suited for Raids in Pokemon Go, but considering Tapu Koko has only two weaknesses, it’s a good choice overall. Just keep an eye on its HP since some hard hitters can defeat it in no time.

Lunala

Once you evolve Cosmog into Cosmoem, you have two choices: to evolve it into Solgaleo or Lunala. Solgaleo didn’t make it into this list because it can’t compete with other Psychic or Steel types in terms of damage output and efficiency.

Lunala, being only weak to Dark and Ghost-type attacks, takes the price since it excels as both a Psychic and Ghost-type attacker in Pokemon Go. With great bulk and a high ATK stat, the cover Legendary for Pokemon Moon is a great pick for both PvP and PvE.

Tapu Bulu

Tapu Bulu is the best Tapu of them all in Pokemon Go and a great pick for the Master League in particular. While it doesn’t have a Fairy-type Fast Move, it can charge Nature’s Madness quickly thanks to Bullet Seed. You can also teach Tapu Bulu the Solar Beam Charge move to decimate enemies, putting the Legendary among the top Grass-type attackers.

Kartana

Kartana tops every Grass-type chart in Pokemon Go thanks to its massive ATK stat and it’s only surpassed by Mega Evolutions. The Ultra Beast can charge its moves fairly fast and deliver a lot of damage in no time, which is ideal for Raids and can be very useful in PvP as well.

The downside of Kartana’s stats is that it won’t survive for long, so you’ll need to make sure to dish as much damage as you can as soon as possible.

Blacephalon

The Ultra Beast Blacephalon is very similar to Chandelure, a decent choice for both PvP and PvE, but it can’t hold its own in battle for long. If you’re planning on using it, you’ll need to be careful and dodge a lot while you wait for Mystical Fire to charge.

And while Blacephalon is weak against Dark, Ghost, Ground, Rock, and Water-type attacks, it also boasts a total of nine resistances that make it a viable choice in all Battle League formats.

Xurkitree

As a pure Electric-type Pokemon, Xurkitree is one of the best attackers you’ll find for Raids. Only weak to Ground-type attacks and with a decent bulk, Xurkitree can take down Water and Flying-type Pokemon in no time without risking being defeated.

Dusk Mane Necrozma

As a pure Psychic-type Pokemon, Necrozma can’t top any chart in Pokemon Go, but you can fuse it with either Solgaleo or Lunala to get one of the most powerful Alolan Pokemon in the game.

By fusing Necrozma and Solgaleo, you’ll get the Psychic/Steel-type Dusk Mane Necrozma. While both fusions have the exact same stats, Solgaleo’s has four weaknesses, which can be a problem when facing expert trainers. Either Way, Dusk Mane Necrozma is the best Steel-type attacker in Pokemon Go.

Dawn Wings Necrozma

Lunala’s fusion with Necrozma is weak only to Dark and Ghost-type attacks, which aren’t big in any of the Pokemon Go PvP formats. You won’t find a better Ghost-type attacker than Dawn Wings Necrozma in the game, with Moongiest Beam being an absolute nuke to decimate enemies.

You can also teach Dawn Wings Necrozma other Psychic, Steel, Dark, and Dragon-type attacks for coverage and to be able to tackle not-so-obvious Raids. It’s an overall great pick for any battle in Pokemon Go, only surpassed by the likes of Mega Rayquaza and Primal Groudon.
