Where To Find Sake In Sengoku Dynasty

As you get more villagers in Sengoku Dynasty, you’ll also get more parameters to keep in mind if you want to keep them happy. Thankfully, the parameters that unlock later have a very slight increase with each villager, whereas the early parameters like meals and beverages will see a significant requirement increase.

If you want to meet the beverage requirement, you can either make multiple wells and have villagers constantly get water from it, or follow a little longer process to create Sake, which gives significantly higher points to this parameter.

How To Get Sake

Sengoku Dynasty showing how to make Sake in filtration press.

You can start getting Sake quite early while playing Sengoku Dynasty. You can commonly find this beverage when you loot enemy bodies or chests, and you can also buy it from various beverage traders. However, the only way Sake is worth getting is when you make it yourself, which can only happen after you reach dynasty level ten.

When you do that, you can build the Basic Brewery building. This will also require some ice, which you can only mine during the winter season, so it’s highly recommended to stock up on it when you can. Once you fully build the Brewery, here are the steps you’ll need to make Sake:

  • First, you have to create a water field and start farming rice in it. You can buy rice from traders, but you’ll also get Koji Mold if you plant rice yourself, which is also needed for this process.
  • Once you have the rice, head over to the Rice Boiling Barrel in the Brewery and use eight rice, one firewood, and one water to make one boiled rice.
  • Next, head to the Fermentation Barrel and use one boiled rice, two Koji Mold, one water, and one ice to make a Fermented Mixture. This is why you have to stack up on ice beforehand.
  • Finally, you can use the Fermented Mixture in the Filtration Press to get two Sake for each. Keep in mind that all these processes take their sweet time once you put the resources in.

If you assign a villager to the Filtration Press instead, they can make four Sake out of one Fermented Mixture, which totals up to 144 beverage points.

While Sake is largely useless for your character since you only gain a bit of food from it, its main use is to satisfy the village’s beverage needs. It can also be used as an offering on some shrines to get their blessings.
