Netmarble has revealed their upcoming action RPG, MONGIL: STAR DIVE, set to release on Android, iOS, and PC in the second half of 2025. It is developed by Netmarble Monster, it serves as a sequel to Monster Taming following the protagonists, Verna and Cloud to their next adventure.

MONGIL: STAR DIVE is an action RPG that serves as a sequel to Netmarble’s classic RPG that was released in 2013. This game is developed using Unreal Engine 5, so we can expect a lot from it, right from visuals and graphics to action and other content. The game is being developed as Netmarble Monster, with Netmarble acting as the publisher.
You will get to experience the new journey of Monster Taming’s protagonists Verna and Cloud along with the game’s mysterious mascot Nyanners. You can use Nyanners’ unique abilities to tame monsters that will also grant them special powers. These tamed monsters can be used strategically in your battles or you can craft them into Monster-rings, whatever floats your boat. These monster-rings can then be equipped to enhance your characters.
Netmarble plans to showcase the game’s story mode at G-STAR 2024
The game aims to continue Monster Taming’s legacy and plans to bring its diverse characters, unique universe, and core gameplay elements. It also promises high-quality cutscenes, three-character party combat, stunning 3D graphics, and an immersive storyline.
