This new Minecraft controller is clearly a must-have for the holiday season

Newly Turtle Beach-acquired controller maker, PDP, has just unveiled the REALMz Wireless Controller: Minecraft Diamond Print controller, a new transparent Xbox and PC controller that’s the perfect match for any Minecraft player. Stamped with an image of a Creeper on the left grip and housing a figurine of Steve in the right grip, this controller looks amazing and delivers plenty of features too.

While PDP has yet to land a spot on our best PC controller guide, this model definitely would be worthy of a spot if looks alone are all that counts, thanks to its amazing transparent build. The underlying color scheme looks amazing too. An exclusive Minecraft Time Flies Tee digital item code is included with the purchase of this controller too.

The controller is a standard Xbox layout but with slightly wider grips and rear buttons – one each for each hand. The central face of the controller also includes extra buttons all of which can be configured using PDP’s Control Hub app.

As a wireless model, Minecraft Diamond Print comes with a built-in rechargeable battery that PDP claims lasts up to 40 hours. You can also connect over USB-C and it’s compatible with Xbox and PC.

PDP makes no grand claims about the physical capability of the controller, in terms of it using Hall Effect thumbsticks or having particularly long-lasting or responsive buttons, which is reflected in its not overly premium price of $79.99.

Even if you just have one of these as a spare controller just to look nice next to your system, though, we’re all for it, as it really does look amazing.

The REALMz Wireless Controller: Minecraft Diamond Print is up for pre-order now, though the site is indicating to us that it’s sold out already but it’s worth checking via this link, as stock allocations may return.
