Warframe is all set to make a complete mobile launch on February 18th, 2026, as it debuts on Android. The makers, Digital Extremes, revealed during Devstream 192 that Warframe on Android will launch in two phases.
First, players in Canada will get an early taste of the game on February 11, about a week ahead of others. The global launch will follow soon after. The Android release finally arrives nearly two years after the game first became globally available on iOS devices.
Players control powerful Warframes, each with unique abilities and playstyles
Warframe was first announced for mobile back in 2021. Set in a sci-fi universe, you play as a powerful warrior known as a Tenno. The game is known for its cinematic storytelling, fast, movement-heavy gameplay, and lets you fight through missions using parkour, melee combat, guns, and special powers.
After several rounds of testing, Warframe successfully launched on iOS in February 2024, with no signs of release on other mobile OS. For Android, the most recent Closed Beta began on November 28, 2025, and the release is set for a couple of months later.
To run Warframe on Android, your device needs to meet a few requirements. The game supports 64-bit Android devices with ARM64 processors, running Android 12 or higher, with at least 4GB of RAM. Devices below this may not be supported at launch.
Ahead of release, pre-registration is now live on the Google Play Store. If you pre-register and log in by March 4, 2026, you will receive the Cumulus Collection, which includes cosmetic items and boosters like the Cirrus Armor Bundle, Cumulus Syandana, a pistol skin, a color palette, and a three-day resource booster.
