Darkwinter Software Co., Ltd has officially released Girls’ Frontline: Fire Control. Set in the Girls’ Frontline universe, Fire Control blends high-intensity shooting gameplay with deep team-building strategy. In this Beginners Guide, I will give you tips on how to win matches and get the sweet MVP in Girls Frontline Fire Control.
The game is very team-dependent and hero shooter-like, with two game modes at present: Team Deathmatch and MOBA-like Defend the Guardian. Squad Building plays an important role
When the character selection is up, make sure your team has all the classes fulfilled, or else the battles go one-sided very fast. As every character has counter to each other to balance the game and not make fights go one-sided, after I tested different classes.
- Sniper, as the name says, needs aim and is good at long range.
- Assault are DPS Dolls who are very good at all three ranges but need good support to stay alive.
- Flanks are SMG dolls that strike from behind in close range and then quickly move out.
- Support are pistol dolls that support by healing the team.
- Tanks are shotgunners with good shields and HP that are great in close range.
Choosing your Doll from the different Classes
The game is a third-person PvP hero shooter in which you choose one of 12 available dolls at launch. When you log in, the game will only present you with a single doll to play as, and you unlock all other ones by playing the game and grinding in-game currency, something Valorant also does.
Each doll offers a different sort of tactical and gameplay advantages over the others. The current roster consists of five types of character classes. Sniper, Medic, Assault, Flanker, andTank. All of them have two dolls to counter each other. I will explain below how they work.

1. Secure a Balanced Team and Tactical Setup early
When you first start, it’s tempting to use whoever you get, but resist that urge. Build a balanced team early. You’ll want at least one strong DPS unit to handle damage, a support or healer to sustain your team, and a flanker or tank character to manage the flow of battle. A good team composition ensures you can handle everything from long guardian fights to quick deathmatches in the arenas.
2. Master the Tactical Build of the Doll you play
The real enjoyment of the game is leveling up your dolls as you play and mastering their different builds and abilities that help you edge out over other players and feel the thrill of winning out over them.
When you face other players with the same doll as yours, you have to perform as a real master would do, and getting the first one to go down in your situation will define how good you are with your doll.
3. Maps and Item placements
The game offers a variety of different maps, from Nordtown’s Close Ranger chaotic quarters to the long-range Garage map. Make sure you know where they are and what is gonna spawn where, as there are health packs that will help you survive after a fight.
4. Different game modes require different playstyles
There are two modes: Team Deathmatch and Destroy the Guardian of the opposing team. In team deathmatch, the first team to reach 30 kills wins before the enemy team. Here, play aggressively.
In Destroy the Guardian mode, you have to push the enemy and destroy their Guardian like a traditional MOBA match. Here, play defensively.
5. Explore all the events
The events give enough currencies to get you the desired doll fast and even help you get the class your team is missing, as grinding through matches can take too much time. The best ones to do are the dailies and BP missions, and staying online ones, as they give you 15k coins easily, and only 30k are needed for unlocking a character.
Final Thoughts
Losing and winning are part of life, so don’t be sad or angry when you lose a match. Chin up and move on to the next one, because sometimes the opponent is just having a good day. The game may not be the most polished PvP game out there, but it has its charm, and that’s what makes it unique and enduring.
