Brawl Stars has launched a Special Challenge event, allowing you to unlock 6 random Starr Drops and 1 Mecha Box. This challenge is now live and will be available until December 13, and if you’re lucky, you can obtain Mecha skins from the box. And Brawliversary is also arriving this month.
Brawl Stars Special Challenge Event Overview
So, Brawliversary is arriving really soon, and the countdown to it has now begun, as Brawl Stars is offering you a free random Starr Drop for the next 7 days, and you’ll be getting mysterious rewards via Daily Wins on December 12.
Until then, the game has introduced the limited-time Special Challenge event, with three stages to complete, like Mr. P’s Gym Rat Challenge. You need to win two matches in each stage, with 6 wins to complete the challenge and receive the Mecha box. You have just 4 limited lives, but you can buy more.
How to complete the Special Challenge in Brawl Stars
Now, the process to complete the challenge is not that complex, as you only need to clear 3 stages to obtain your desired rewards. Unlike previous challenges, you just need 2 wins per stage instead of 3 to progress to the next, so it’s quite easy this time around.
Now, what makes it easier is that each stage features the Gem Grab mode, where you need to collect Gems from the Gem Mine or get them by eliminating your enemies. You need to hold ten Gems until the timer ends to win the match. But the twist is the Angry Robo that randomly shows up and attacks you.
Stage 1 takes place in the Snow Fort map, Stage 2 in the Holiday Chill map, and Stage 3 in the Gift Wrap map. For Brawlers, Max is a good pick to steal Gems, rotate quickly, or support your teammates, or you can pick Assassins like Kaze or Kenji, for both objectives and domination. Tanks like Frank work well here.

Even I wished the special reward were to be a skin like previous challenges, but even the Mecha Box is worth it, as if you get lucky, you can get Mecha Skins like Mecha Colt, Mecha Mortis, and more, along with other rewards. On top of that, you also earn 6 random Starr Drops, provided you win 6 matches.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it once more that I don’t particularly enjoy challenges like this one, which just offers 4 lives instead of unlimited tries. However, this one only requires 2 wins per stage, so it is easier, and the game mode isn’t that tough either. But, do team up with good players for better chances.
