Here’s how to collect lots of Waffles for free E

Brawl Stars has launched a special collab event with Stranger Things, now live until December 3. This event includes Waffles, themed skins, the Upside Showdown and Hawkins Hunt game mode, and various rewards. In this guide, I will cover everything you need to know about the event, including how to collect Waffles for free, the available rewards, and more.

Brawl Stars x Stranger Things Event: Overview

The Brawl Stars x Stranger Things event is now live in-game, letting you collect Waffles that can be exchanged for Packs. So you can use this event currency in the Shop to get Brawler Decks, which unlock Brawlers for the Upside Showdown and Hawkins Hunt mode. Unlike the Subway Surfers Collab event, this one is quite different.

Now, you can collect Brawler Decks to play as your favorite characters. And, these packs come in two types: the Stranger Pack, which includes 1 Brawler Deck and the Strangest Pack, which offers 1 Brawler Deck and 2 bonus rewards, which may include Stranger Things skins. Plus, during this event, a Run refers to a single attempt of yours to complete all 5 stages of the Stranger Things modes.

As I told you, these packs can include unique event skins, and the Shop features four packs throughout the event. Now, once you unlock a Brawler’s Deck, you can use the Brawlers in the new Stranger Things game modes. Moreover, each deck contains Power cards that come in three rarities: Epic, Mythic, and Legendary.

So, the higher the rarity, the better the Power, and you can use these Powers during Runs to boost your Brawler’s abilities and have an upper hand. For instance, Shelly’s Deck consist of Legendary Cards like Max Health +2000, Damage +30%, and more. And it is different for every Brawler.

Upside Showdown Game Mode Overview

In this collab event, the first mode you can experience is the roguelite Upside Showdown mode, where you battle against nine other players in each stage. You earn Waffles as you progress, up to a maximum of 200 per run. And, at the end of each stage, you can pick from one of the three Powers to enhance your Brawler for the rest of the Run.

Here, your main goal is to finish in the Top 4 to qualify for the next stage. However, if you fail to do so, you’ve to restart your whole Run. After knowing this, you’ll surely want to be Top 1, as you’re guaranteed a Legendary Power card for 1st place, with a Power card of Mythic rarity or higher for 2nd, and an Epic Power card for 3rd and 5th.

Hawkins Hunt Game Mode Overview

Along with Upside Showdown, you can also look forward to the Hawkins Hunt game mode, which is starting in a few hours. So, Vecna and Demogorgon are arriving, with Spirit Frank being the first Boss. Here, you can team up with 2 other players to battle them in 5 stages with increasing difficulty.

How to get Waffles in Brawl Stars x Stranger Things Event

By now, you’re probably thinking about how to collect a lot of Waffles, and you don’t have to wait much, as I’ll show you exactly how you can do that, and what rewards you can obtain with it too.

1. Daily Wins

During this event, you can also obtain Waffles alongside the Daily Starr Drops, which you earn through daily wins. So, you can earn a total of 45 Waffles daily, provided you win 6 matches daily.

2. Mega Quests

Another way of obtaining a lot of Waffles is through Mega Quests. If you’ve read our October Brawl Talk article, you should know by now that Brawl Stars has now introduced Mega Quests. You’ve to simply complete the quests to obtain a total of 750 Waffles, along with other rewards, like Legendary Starr Drop.

3. Shop

The game is also offering free Waffles in the in-game shop. Now, you can collect a set amount of Waffles daily until the season ends, totaling 2460 Waffles. And if you’ve enough Gems saved, you can also use them to obtain more Waffles.

4. Clearing the new game modes

Lastly, keep playing both Upside Showdown and Hawkins Hunt to obtain a good amount of Waffles. For instance, you can earn 70 Waffles by clearing all 5 stages in Upside Showdown.

So, after hording a lot of Waffles, make sure to exchange them for Strangest Packs, as they include unique event skins like Hopper Bull, Eddie Draco, Will Gus, and Scoops Ahoy Derry. That said, you only need to collect at least 60 packs to unlock the Will Gus skin. Moreover, by completing the Brawler Deck collection, you’ll earn a unique event pin.
