The 5th edition of the GamingonPhone Awards 2025 celebrated the best in mobile gaming with 30 exciting categories. Held on October 17 in Bangkok, Thailand, it marked the event’s first-ever in-person ceremony. Winners were decided through votes from the Jury, the Public, and the GamingonPhone editorial team. With over 240 finalists competing, this year’s edition was an extravagant celebration of mobile gaming excellence.

Developed by Tencent Games and TiMi Studio Group, Honor of Kings: World is an open-world RPG spin-off of the world’s highest-grossing MOBA, Honor of Kings. Here, you’ll get to face off against bosses like the Crimson Beast, switch between two fighting styles, and summon legendary creatures such as the Azure Beast to aid you in combat.
Characters like Kaizer will bring unique strategies to the battlefield, and the ability to chain combos, unleash special talents, and even swap between four weapon types, including ringblades, lance, hammer, and more, intrigues me. I hope this title releases soon on mobile, as it will be optimized to match the PC experience.
In the Most Anticipated Game Of The Year category at the GamingonPhone Awards 2025, Honor of Kings: World had a solid victory over other highly anticipated contenders such as Rust Mobile, Valorant Mobile, Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra, Aniimo, Arknights: Endfield, Azur Promilia, and Pokémon Champions.
