September 2025 continued to showcase the shifting yet familiar dynamics of the global mobile gaming market. There were familiar names that popped up at the top with a few changes, while there were also a couple of new entries. Here’s a breakdown of the publishers who made waves in downloads and revenue last month.

No changes once again, Azur Games retains the Number 1 spot that it has been in throughout the year, and it doesn’t seem like it’ll slip down anytime soon. As for the download numbers, it just misses out on the 100 million mark.

Miniclip followed in second place with 79.3 million downloads, edging BabyBus and swapping places from August. SayGames climbed to fourth place with 56.9 million downloads, while Voodoo rounded out the top five with 56.4 million.

Outfit7 took sixth with 52.3 million downloads, continuing the success of its family-friendly IPs, while Supercent climbed one place up to seventh with 51.2 million, as Supersonic Studios, CrazyLabs, and 1SOFT filled out the remaining top ten spots.

ABI Games Studio, Kayac, and Tencent Games all performed well, collecting over 30 million downloads each. Freeplay entered into the Top 15 rankings for the first time and saw 27 million downloads under its name, with Roblox Corporation completing the list at 15.

On the revenue side, Tencent Games remained the undisputed leader, generating an impressive $472.7 million in September 2025. Its flagship titles like Honor of Kings and PUBG Mobile are still among the top revenue earners among games, so the push is still on.

Century Games took second place with $195.5 million, powered by the ongoing success of its strategy and simulation franchises. Dream Games secured the third position with $135.2 million, as Roblox Corporation, which climbed to third last month, slipped back to fourth again with $122.2 million.

Funfly retained fifth with $119.3 million, as Playrix and Supercell were nearly tied for sixth and seventh, each earning just above $114 million. Scopely, NetEase Games, and King rounded out the top ten, each surpassing the $100 million threshold.

The bottom half of the top 15 saw Microfun, Cognosphere (HoYoverse), Moon Active, Bandai Namco Entertainment, and a new entry in Florere Game Limited, which climbed to the spot ahead of last month’s Top 15 Aniplex and Niantic.
