eFootball 2026 Epic and Show Time Over-the-Top Pass B pack review

eFootball 2026 Epic and Show Time Over-the-Top Pass B pack

Over-the-Top Pass B has debuted as a new Link-Up playstyle in the October 2025 update in eFootball 2026, and to celebrate that, we already have a new Epic pack here. Featuring Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Mark van Bommel, Rodri, and Jérémy Doku, it is yet another 200-player pack.

While it may not completely redefine the meta, each card offers something unique for different playstyles. The cards look good and ofcourse many are curious if they should land a few spins on this. What do I suggest? Let me share my thoughts in this review.

Ronaldinho Gaúcho

  • Position: LWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger
  • Show Time Skills: Momentum Dribbling and Acceleration Burst

The Barcelona version of Ronaldinho gets some impressive treatment here, some amazing numbers on this card and also the skills that back the card. This Ronaldinho feels just as smooth as you’d expect. The Momentum Dribbling skill makes him glide through defenders, like his previous Hole Player card.

What’s another advantage is that he gets two best winger ST skills, Acceleration Burst is another one, works brilliantly well. He carries the ball close, reacts fast, and simply put, the dribbling is one of the best in the game, so you can easily have them numbers close to 95s and allocate to other aspects.

Now, other aspects, again, I have no complaints. Speed and Acceleration in the 90s, physical game is also strong enough to hold the ball, he is not a finisher, but the late 80s can easily be achievable, along with passing, which I feel should be higher to help him cross.

Many might not notice, but this version misses out on the Double Touch, which is pretty shocking, so do add that skill. One Touch Pass, Pinpoint Crossing, and First Time Shot are also necessities, so these four should be your go-to skill additions if you get him.

Mark van Bommel

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Show Time Skills: Phenomenal Pass

We got the Legend version of the card design here, and Bommel looks to be a decent pick, somewhat similar to the Pedri profile, but taller. He plays that calm role in midfield: winning duels, holding position, and finding the next man quickly.

The first thing you notice will be his passing, really great numbers there, and it does reflect on the pitch. Speed, Acceleration, and Defensive numbers are all in the 80s range, which is absolutely amazing. I feel he is best suited to be a DMF, maybe give him a DMF build with good passing to take advantage of the link-up.

Rodri

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Orchestrator
  • Show Time Skills: Phenomenal Pass and Long-Range Tackling

This profile has been one of my favorites and Rodri juggles between Orchestrator and Anchor Man, where he is awesome in both playing styles. This version of Rodri is easily one of the most complete defensive midfielders in the game again.

He has that perfect balance of strength, awareness, and passing that fits into any setup. Phenomenal Pass and Long-Range Tackling for a ST skill duo is really a strong aspect, since he can perform both creatively and defensively, and he does that perfectly.

Stat-wise, there’s nothing to complain about. Defensive Awareness, Ball Winning, and Low Pass can all hit mid- to high-90s easily. His Physical Contact and Balance make him solid under pressure, while the Stamina ensures he lasts the full 90 without slowing down.

He’s not a fast player, but the positioning more than makes up for that. If you are using him as a DMF, which I see is the best use case, then have Aerial Superiority, Sliding Tackle and Heading skills added.

Jérémy Doku

  • Position: LWF
  • Playing Style: Prolific Winger
  • Show Time Skills: Momentum Dribbling

This card is all about pace, agility, and that Momentum Dribbling Show Time skill, which makes him ridiculously smooth on the ball. A toned-down Ronaldinho could be the right explanation for this card, close stats on this and trimmed out of an Acceleration Burst skill.

Doku turns into an absolute menace on the wings because of that speed and dribbling. He is really rapid and you can just carry the ball in a straight line. Well, apart from this, he is just okay in other aspects, can just do the job in finishing and passing.

Over-the-Top Pass A pack was one of the best Link-Up packs released to date, which has been only 3, and just as a Link-Up play, I don’t rate Pass B over A. Automatically, the ratings on this pack go down, but it is also on the players on offer.

Just two cards get double ST skill treatment, which isn’t the normal 3 like usual, and there are two cards that find themselves as the best picks in a pack of 200 players. Spinning for these two seems to be a gamble and hence I won’t advise you on this.

Pack Rating: 2.5 out of 5
