Introducing the Destiny: Rising Red Sea Rift Map
The Red Sea Rift is built to feel like an expedition zone, and it’s a mid-to-late game area designed for exploration, combat variety, and multiplayer events. It mixes wide-open areas with tighter, more claustrophobic lanes. And everywhere you look, the environmental storytelling pulls you deeper into its atmosphere.
Apart from the eerie nature of this map, the Red Sea Rift offers challenges and rewards, too. For grinders, it’s another good location to spend time in, while for explorers, it’s a treasure chest of lore, collectibles, and rare encounters. To succeed, you’ll need a combination of mobility, area control, and precision damage, especially as events scale into higher difficulty.
List of Locations in the Destiny: Rising Red Sea Rift Map
1. Firebase Minos
Firebase Minos acts as the military foothold of the Rift, an operating base filled with ruined bunkers, crumbling watchtowers, and scattered ammo crates across its battlegrounds. This is a combat-heavy area, and when fighting in Minos, you can expect quick combat loops where enemies pour into the area and elites turn up to give you a hard time.
The map combines open sightlines with enclosed cover, and missions here often include timed objectives, escort runs, and defensive events, requiring players to constantly rotate between positions while staying alert for ambushes. If you enjoy combat encounters that push you to adapt quickly, Minos delivers plenty of high-energy battles.
Success in Minos comes down to planning and awareness. High ground offers strong vantage points, but it can leave you dangerously exposed when targeted, so use them sparingly and keep repositioning. In public runs, it’s also wise to bring a teammate with healing since the rapid skirmishes can turn chaotic when an elite spawns mid-fight. With the right approach, Firebase Minos will keep you pumped while playing Destiny: Rising.
2. Veridia Forest
Veridia Forest is where the last human settlement in the Red Sea Rift is, and unlike Firebase Minos, it shows more signs of life. From little red pounds, mutated trees, and sunlight filtering the eerie landscape, it all mixes to give this zone a haunting beauty. Although the random enemy encounters might take you by surprise, if you let the view steal all your attention.
In this location, you can also find two new fishing locations that offer a new variety of fish to catch. And if you’re just tired of fishing in Haven and need a change of scenery, Veridia Forest does the trick. Also, you can join in on multiplayer events and coordinate with other Lightbearers to complete challenges and enjoy sweet rewards.
And if you want to take on more Reputation missions to get rewards and boost your reputation, you can head over to Veridia and talk to Shira. Also, don’t forget to hunt for chests and rewards by checking out points of interest on the map and Golden Age Legacy rewards. So for explorers who enjoy both combat and discovery, Veridia Forest is another spot to explore in the Red Sea Rift.
