Destiny: Rising Pinnacle Energy Guide and how to get them

Destiny: Rising Character

If you’ve been playing NetEase Games’ latest mobile RPG, Destiny: Rising, you’ve probably noticed one of the most confusing systems in the game, Pinnacle Energy. Unlike other currencies and items, Pinnacle Energy is directly tied to Pinnacle Rewards and is used to claim high-yield loot that actually increases your overall rewards gotten from completed challenges.

In this Destiny: Rising Pinnacle Energy Guide, we’ll break down what Pinnacle Energy is, how to earn it, the types of Pinnacle Rewards you’ll be spending it on, and most importantly, how to use it efficiently so you don’t waste valuable resources.

Also, feel free to check out our Weapons Tier List and Guardian Tier List to help you pick what Guardians you should aim for. And our Customer Support guide is also here if you need any help. What is Pinnacle Energy in Destiny: Rising

Pinnacle Energy is essentially a stamina-like resource in Destiny: Rising, used exclusively to claim Pinnacle Rewards. And every day, your Pinnacle Energy resets, and you gain 120 Pinnacle Energy automatically, up to a hard cap of 360 Pinnacle Energy.

Also, if you don’t spend it, any additional free Energy earned beyond this cap is lost. So this is where smart management comes in, cause you’ll want to keep your Energy bar below 240 so that the next reset refills it to maximum.

So, think of Pinnacle Energy as your key to getting meaningful loot. Without it, you’ll still get rewards, but they’ll be “Basic Rewards”, which are lower quality drops.

What are Pinnacle Rewards in Destiny: Rising

Pinnacle Rewards are the premium loot in Destiny: Rising and serve as the backbone of your progression. Unlike basic rewards, which provide materials or gear at low rates and fewer rewards, Pinnacle Rewards are designed to give you better gear and materials, with items that let you push your Team Level and Lightbearer to higher thresholds, making them essential for advancing faster in the game.

These rewards come in different forms depending on the activity. Weapons, including the highly sought-after Exotic and Mythic Weapons, are often obtained through Strikes and represent some of the strongest gear in the game.

Artifacts, which are primarily acquired in the Realm of the IX, contribute their own separate power Level that stacks alongside weapons, giving you an extra layer of progression. On top of this, certain activities like Shifting Gates grant currencies and materials such as Translation Credits, Bright Dust, and Glimmer, while other Activities drop valuable character materials and other useful items.

The main distinction between Pinnacle Rewards and Basic Rewards is how they greatly increase the rewards earned from completed Activities. And this makes Pinnacle Rewards so important, cause they’re stepping stones that allow you to climb into the most challenging parts of Destiny: Rising.

How to get Pinnacle Energy in Destiny: Rising

There are only a few reliable ways to obtain Pinnacle Energy, so making the most of it is crucial:

  • Daily Reset (Free Energy): 120 Pinnacle Energy is automatically added to your account each day when the timer resets.
  • Silver Dust Store: If you’re up for it, you can buy Pinnacle Energy Packs with premium currency if you need more for farming.
  • Pandora-7’s Store: Limited-time bundles also include Pinnacle Energy, often packaged with other rewards. So you can get them for Pandora’s Deals, but these are also not free.
  • Reserves Overflow: Any purchased Energy that exceeds your cap goes into Pinnacle Energy Reserves. This lets you stockpile for grind sessions.

How to Spend Pinnacle Energy in Destiny: Rising

1. Farm Weapons in Strikes

Strikes are one of the most efficient places to spend Pinnacle Energy, especially if you’re hunting Exotic or Mythical Weapons. The Pinnacle Rewards give you a random Mythic weapon and a 3% chance for a random Exotic. So prioritize Strikes if you want to boost your loadout in the game.

2. Invest in Singularity Chaos for Artifacts

Artifacts are special items that carry their own power rating and directly boost your lightbearer’s total Power. So spend your Pinnacle Energy here, especially if you want exotic or mythic artifacts that will scale your power.

3. Time Pinnacle Energy with Seasonal Events

Certain seasonal activities, like Gauntlet: Onslaught, are designed around spending Pinnacle Energy for limited weapons and exclusive loot. So if an event is running, always save your Energy for it, cause the rewards are always worthwhile.

4. Invest in Morgan’s Prey for Rewards

This activity is ideal for spending Pinnacle Energy because it offers rewards that often include things you can’t easily get elsewhere, such as weapon enhancement prisms, glimmer, mod fragments, and Bright Dust. Choosing to spend your Pinnacle Energy here can yield high-value rewards in return for a short burst of focused effort.
