2. Build a Balanced Team
You should try to include units that cover both Physical and Elemental damage types, and must have the support character in the team. This way, you’ll always have the right attributes to eliminate different Kaiju. And a mix of damage dealers and support also works.
3. Don’t waste SP by randomly using Combat Skills
While it’s tempting to use Combat Skills as soon as your SP gauge fills, sometimes holding back is the better move. You should save SP or use Normal Attack to generate more for breaking the last few plates of the Kaiju. And, you can use Kaiju No. 8’s Combat Skills to attack all enemies at the right time.
4. Pay attention to warnings
As you know by now, the game always shows a warning when the Kaiju’s Ultimate Gauge is full. So, you should try to delay that, cancel their ultimate, or quickly eliminate them during their vulnerable state. By ignoring this, you may take a lot of damage and even lose.
5. Time your Ultimates for Core Exposed state
You should use both your Normal Attack and Combat Skills properly to fill up the Ultimate gauge. You should unleash an Ultimate during the Core Exposed state of the Kaiju to maximize damage. And since Ultimates let your character cut to the front of the Action Order, they’re perfect for interrupting enemy Ultimates.
6. Enhance your characters and Ascend them
You should always enhance your characters whenever you collect enough Defense Force Manuals, and once they reach the level cap, try to perform a limit unlock. Moreover, use the Talent Shards to ascend your characters, in order to unlock powerful effects at each Ascension stage.
