Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) has announced the first official international esports tournament, Rising Stars. The event will begin this September to conclude in October 2025. This will serve as a qualification process for the title’s international tournament.
With two main stages and six sub-stages, the whole process will be a compelling thing to watch. Magic Chess: Go Go, the popular chess-like strategy spin-off set in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang‘s universe. The title is from MOONTON’s subsidiary Vizta Games.

MCGG Rising Stars will serve as a qualifier for the international event
The tournament is open to all, and Rising Stars will come as an in-game feature for the strategy title. Scheduled to kick off on the 12th of September, the initial stages will serve as a gateway to online qualifiers. The Rising Talent (MRS) feature will let players show off their skills on the chessboard and compete to be the inaugural international MCGG champion.
There are two stages in the qualification: Open Qualifiers and Division Finals. The first one will have six sub-stages, starting from 12 September to 19 October. You can enter the qualifier from Fridays to Sundays.
There will be seven divisions, aka regions: Asia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), Europe, Indonesia, Latin America (LATAM), Malaysia, and the Philippines. Each competitor will go through six challenging stages to earn the title of Rising Star.
Now, the Division Finals will feature the top divisional Rising Stars who will face off for a chance to qualify for the first MCGG international tournament. This will be the ultimate stage of the event. However, more details will follow soon.
