The Pokémon Company has announced that Mega Evolution Pokémon are joining the roster of their popular MOBA, Pokémon UNITE. Mega Lucario is joining the game on October 3, and Mega Charizard X on October 24. Alongside them, two more are set to arrive by the end of 2025.
Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X are arriving next month, followed by two more later this year
Pokémon UNITE just recently spiced things up by announcing the new water-type Pokémon like Empoleon, Dhelmise, and Vaporeon. Now, they’re turning up the excitement by introducing Mega Evolution Pokémon, as Mega Lucario and Mega Charizard X will be playable starting next month.
So, you can jump in as Mega Lucario starting October 3, while you wait to play as Mega Charizard X until October 24. What’s even better is that two more Mega Evolution Pokémon are coming to Aeos Island before the end of this year. That said, not many details are revealed about them.
Pawmot, an all-rounder Pokémon, joins the action early this month
Now, the community is really very happy over this announcement, with one fan stating, “I LOVE THIS! Pokemon Unite is feeding us goooood in Year 4,” while another shared, “Holyyyy. I definitely chose the right time to start playing again.” Even I’m excited to try Mega Charizard X and its moves.
On top of this, Pawmot, an all-rounder electric-type Pokémon, is arriving in the game on September 4. So, while you wait for the Mega Evolution Pokémon, you can jump in as Pawmot or even Empoleon starting September 19.
