Backyard Football ’99, the classic game from the beloved Backyard Sports franchise, is officially making a comeback. The enhanced version will be available on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam on September 9, 2025, with pre-registration for Backyard Football ’99 now live.
Originally released in 1999, this re-release brings back the charm of the original with modern improvements, while staying true to its roots. The game lets you build your dream team of kids, mix in legendary NFL stars, and relive the simple joy of backyard football.
Backyard Football ’99 offers two core modes to play: Single Game and Season Mode. While Single Mode is simply pick up a team and play, in Season Mode, you can draft your squad, face off against 15 teams, and compete for the Super Colossal Cereal Bowl championship.
