PUBG Mobile Unfail Mode: Features, Tips and Tricks

The 4.0 version update of PUBG Mobile is not only bringing the Spooky Soiree themed mode, but also bringing a brand new survival mode named the Unfail. It is a pursuit and escape mode where four survivors must hide and eventually escape the clutches of the one predator monster, who is the main villain of this mode. In this article, we will discuss the new upcoming Unfail mode in PUBG Mobile and share some must-know tips and tricks to get the upper hand in this mode.

PUBG Mobile Unfail Mode: Overview

As the Halloween festival is coming, PUBG Mobile is going all-out to give its players a spooky and paranormal vibe. We have already seen it in the Spooky Soiree mode. Now, the introduction of the Unfail mode at the Gamescom 2025 has taken this initiative to a brand new level. In this mode, a total of 5 entities will be present in a small map. 4 of them will be you and your teammates, the remaining one is an evil zombie-like monster who is looking to hunt you down. Your main objective is to gather loot and survive from the predator. The most interesting part of this mode is that you can play both as the predator and the survivor.

Now, it may come to your mind how you will get out of this dark, scary, and nightmarish place. To do it, you will need to find and activate some terminals to create a portal, which will let you get out of it. As you can guess, the predator will try to make you fail at any cost, so you need to make this mission unfail, quite literally. The map of this mode is based on the Mylta Power area of the Erangel map. Your team will need to activate a total of 5 terminals scattered around the map. You check out the terminals’ location on the mini-map. There is a total of 8 terminals to choose from.

The main catch of this mode is that your movement speed will be reduced quite significantly. You and your teammates will also have only 5 bullets in your weapons at the start. You can get more ammunition by activating the terminals. Players will get a single auto-recall chance if the predator finishes them. To win this mode, every member of your team must make it to the portal alive. If one of you fails to comply, your team will lose the game.

It is needless to say that as the predator, your only objective is to capture and finish all the survivors. Remember that whenever a survivor tries to activate the terminals, the predator will be able to see their location and position. I must say, the finishing animation of a survivor is filled with gore and violence. The decision to add these elements is a bold one from PUBG Mobile.

Tips and Tricks to win the Unfail mode

In this section, I will share some basic yet important tips that will help you get the coveted win in the PUBG Mobile Unfail Mode.

• Draw the predator’s attention: As I have already mentioned, the predator will know the location of you and your teammate. You just cannot hide and survive. To make it possible, try to lure away the predator by firing at him or bluffing him. Your teammates will play a crucial role in making it happen.
• Bait the predator: One of the most useful techniques to beat the predator is to bait him. Divide into two groups, two players in each group. Send one group to the end part of the map, where a terminal is situated. Pretend that you are activating that terminal. When the predator charges at your group, tell the other group to start activating another terminal at a distant location.

• Move out – Together: If your team has successfully activated the terminals and created a portal, then it will be best if you move to the location of the portal together. If any of you fail to exit, you will lose the match as a team. Also, if you go on by one, it may make the predator’s task easier.
• Use your supplies wisely: you will have very limited supplies during the match. So it is your responsibility to use those things wisely. Don’t just spam fire on the predator. You will also get supplies after activating a terminal, but you can not just rely on it solely.
• Look for covers and hideouts: There are many secret chambers and closets present on the map. These places can help you to hide from the charging predator. Find these locations and make the most out of these.
