HoYoverse has officially started recruitment for the first closed beta of Honkai: Nexus Anima, called the “Nexus Bond Test.” This limited test will run on PC and iOS platforms only, with sign-ups open until September 12, 2025.
The first Honkai: Nexus Anima closed beta test won’t save any progress data
The Nexus Bond Test marks the first small-scale trial of Honkai: Nexus Anima, and HoYoverse has confirmed that all account data will be wiped after the test. Participants will need to register through the official website or the HoYoLAB pre-registration screen.
Players who register and complete the questionnaire will have a chance to be selected and experience the game before launch. Notifications for selected testers will be sent via email. This version will have multiple language support and voiced content as well.
Honkai: Nexus Anima first surfaced earlier this year as a creature-training RPG with urban fantasy elements, where players collect “Destined Spirits” that evolve and gain special abilities. Recent app store leaks revealed its main gameplay style, an autochess-inspired system, but there’s more to that.
Honkai: Nexus Anima is a mix of creature collection and strategy adventure. The story takes place in a world where the balance between powers like Light and Dark or Life and Death has been broken. You will team up with special companions called Anima, each with their own unique abilities.
For iOS players, the recommended specs include iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro, or newer models (excluding iPhone 13 and 13 mini). Devices must run on iOS 14.0 or later, with at least 6GB of RAM and 10GB of storage space available.
HoYoverse has not yet shared details for Android, so the platform may be included in later testing phases since this is a mobile title. No test date details are out yet, so for now, just register and wait for the mail from the devs.
