- Clash of Clans and Clash Royale are not natively available on Mac but can be played using other methods.
- Android emulators let Mac users download the games directly from the Google Play Store.
- Apple’s iPhone Mirroring allows players to stream and control their iPhone games on a Mac.
Supercell’s hit strategy titles, Clash of Clans and Clash Royale, can be played on Mac devices too, though not as directly as on Windows PC through Google Play Games. Since Supercell hasn’t released native Mac versions yet, players will need to rely on emulators or workarounds to experience the games on macOS. Here’s a simple guide on how to download and play Clash of Clans and Clash Royale on Mac.
How to download and play Clash of Clans and Clash Royale on Mac
To play the games directly on your Mac, you’ll need external options since there is no official macOS version available.
There are two steps that players can use to play these two titles. One is installing the emulator, and the second will be iPhone mirroring. Will explain both the options here.
1. Playing via Android Emulator

- Download a trusted Android emulator such as BlueStacks, Genymotion, NoxPlayer, or LDPlayer for macOS.
- Install the emulator and complete the setup.
- Sign in with your Google account inside the emulator.
- Open the Google Play Store and search for Clash of Clans or Clash Royale. This search will grant you access to the store pages for Clash of Clans and Clash Royale.
- Click Install to begin downloading the games.
- Once installed, launch the games and log in using your Supercell ID to sync progress across devices.
2. Play via iPhone Mirroring
This is another way to play the games, although it needs macOS Sequoia 15 or later. Apple’s iPhone Mirroring lets you stream and interact with your iPhone directly from your Mac.

- Ensure your Mac and iPhone meet system requirements and are signed in to the same Apple ID.
- Keep your iPhone locked and near your Mac.
- Open the iPhone Mirroring app from the Dock, Launchpad, or Applications folder.
- If prompted, unlock your iPhone and allow access or notifications.
- Once connected, your iPhone screen will appear in a resizable window on your Mac.
- Launch Clash of Clans or Clash Royale on your iPhone and play using your Mac’s display and input.
- To stop, simply quit the iPhone Mirroring app or unlock your iPhone.
Note that both these steps support crossplay and progression with a single account.
