FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS will shutdown in Japan, following the global version’s shutdown last year

For those unfamiliar, FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS is a turn-based RPG with retro pixel art and character CG. Unfortunately, the FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS announced on X that the game would shutdown on October 31, 2025, in Japan, stating, “We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has played FFBE for so many years since its release in 2015.

You can look forward to trying the Memorial Edition after EOS

Following the announcement, they have disabled in-app purchases, and a Grand Finale Campaign has begun, which includes in-game events like the final chapter of the 5th season and an epilogue scenario. So, I suggest you enjoy the game to its fullest until the EOS date.

The good news is that after the game’s services end, the devs are planning to distribute a Memorial Edition, where you can see units and Vision cards on October 31. Still, it’s sad to see such an iconic title end after 10 years, with many veteran fans expressing their gratitude for the journey.
