eFootball 2026 “Lamine Yamal Edition” pack review

eFootball 2026 Lamine Yamal Edition pack

eFootball 2026 has a lot of packs running right now, and I’m quite sure there’s this confusion that comes with it. How many of them are worth it? Going by packs, we have this new arrival with the player packs that will stay for an entire year, and the Lamine Yamal Edition 2026 in eFootball that is quite interesting.

With this option, you can get an Epic version of Lamine Yamal alongside 10 other players, but another selling point is the prop, stadium choreo, in-game strip, and avatar sets that come with it. So, is it worth it? Let me drop my review and verdict.

The pack is available in the store, which you can purchase for 1800 coins.

Lamine Yamal

  • Position: RWF
  • Playstyle: Creative Playmaker
  • Show Time skill: Edged Crossing

Yamal is classified as a Creative Playmaker, and that’s exactly how he feels on the pitch, both in-game and real life. He is someone who can not only beat defenders with his dribbling but also open up chances for others with strong passing numbers, supporting this card. Something I always liked is how smooth he feels on the ball, with close control that lets him glide past challenges.

His dribbling and tight possession are some of his strongest attributes, and to make it more fun, a bag full of tricks is in his arsenal. He can just as easily play the final ball as he can finish it himself; he has the stats. I did miss that kicking power, felt it could have been better for me, but yes can build it accordingly and push it.

Physically, you’ll want to keep him on the ball and away. Stamina is solid enough to keep him effective through most matches, though his form consistency and weak foot, surprisingly, as I felt, aren’t the most reliable, which might frustrate you at times.

There are 10 other players here, and here’s a quick recap of what you are getting with them.

Pedri

  • Position: CMF
  • Playstyle: Orchestrator

Pedri is the kind of player who makes football look effortless, and that comes across beautifully in this card. His ball control, dribbling, and tight possession are near world-class, making him one of the smoothest players in midfield, and this has been the story in every card he gets.

Passing is undoubtedly his best attribute; he is really smooth when it comes to through passing, and I always feel apart from epic cards. This player has the best passing in the game. Stamina in the high 90s is a huge asset, meaning he can run the game for 90 minutes without dropping his quality.

Defensively, he’s not the best, I would say, but engagement and tackling at autobuild itself show he can press effectively when needed. Combine that with his wide range of technical skills, and you have a midfield orchestrator capable of running the show.

Nico Williams

  • Position: LWF
  • Playstyle: Prolific Winger

Nico Williams is all about raw speed and dribbling flair, and this card captures that perfectly. He is a nightmare to catch up to, especially after the new season update, where speed has become superbly important for a player.

High dribbling numbers and speed stats show it is easy to zoom past with him, and he carries the needed skills to take his man. Crossing is serviceable, not super confident, but not bad either, can outside curl it too, as well as use his weaker foot effectively without worry.

Finishing close to the 80s is decent for a winger, though don’t expect clinical striker levels. He’s not built for physical contests either, but if you need width, pace, and some extra threat in attack, Nico can be your man.

Warren Zaïre-Emery

  • Position: CMF
  • Playstyle: Box-to-Box

A decent card in my opinion to fulfil that B2B role. With the right build, he blends solid passing with reliable defensive work, so his overall presence is elevated. That balance allows him to truly live up to his other abilities, including being on the ball, and being strong enough to get past the press.

He’s not the quickest for sure, but mid-80s is way more than enough to get past the defense. He comes with the necessary passing and dribbling skills, too, so unless you plan to start him, nothing else is needed for him.

Benjamin Sesko

  • Position: CF
  • Playstyle: Goal Poacher

A really good starter striker card if you’re looking for someone who can consistently finish chances inside the box. With strong offensive awareness and finishing stats, he’s the type of forward who knows where to be and makes the most of opportunities. His heading ability, even though stats don’t paint it, is pretty awesome.

What makes him stand out is his physical presence mixed with pace. With acceleration in the high 80s and kicking power in the 90s, he can burst through defenders and strike with authority. His dribbling is a major miss, but for his frame, I feel that’s fine.

  • Aleksandar Pavlović (DMF/Anchor Man): A smart defensive midfielder who excels in breaking up play and distributing the ball, and does the latter part best. On the slower side, but his reading of the game and strong tackling ability. Does lacks a few important skills.
  • Anatolii Trubin (GK/Offensive Goalkeeper): More than numbers, he comes with excellent reflexes and can stop some powerful shots. Has a near-post problem, from what I noticed. Tall build, so a secure card.
  • Dean Huijsen (CB/Extra Frontman): Tall, strong, and defensively reliable, Huijsen can dominate aerial duels and handle physical forwards with ease. He has excellent tackling and positioning, but KONAMI didn’t give him the pace numbers, and that alone does give a side eye compared to the meta.
  • Milos Kerkez (LB/Offensive Wingback): A strong card stat-wise, can be a better fit at LMF with skills also supporting this, but stops at just having four skills, and that is a major miss.
  • Josip Stanišić (RB/Defensive Full-back): Another player who seems to be better at a different position. Not a natural RB, but at CB can be an awesome pick with strong pace and defending numbers to back him.
  • António Silva (CB/Build Up): Another good all-round CB. Can play both short and long balls, defends well, has decent speed to catch up, and even aerial game is solid. Still better options out there.

“Strictly for starters” is my verdict for this pack. I know the majority of players would look at the Yamal card and easily go “this isn’t starter material, and they are right, he isn’t an end game card, but he can be that good option if you are a beginner.

But my pick would be Pedri, who is a solid 4 out of 5 card in this case. Overall pack appeal dies when you go past Nico Williams, as there is some cost-cutting. 2 stars for the pack, but the extra items that come with it are nice to look at, so a O-point-five for that one.

Pack Rating: 2.5 out of 5
