Clash of Clans is bringing another collaborative clan event, and this time it’s all about heroes. The Hero Rush event, spotted in August 2025, follows a similar format to the earlier Gold Rush event in Clash of Clans but swaps out the gold-themed focus for a hero-centric challenge.

Overview and Event Progression
Running from August 13 to August 20, 2025, this one-week event allows players to attack with their heroes even while they are upgrading. The goal is simple: farm as much dark elixir as possible, convert it to pop elixir, and contribute it to your clan for milestone rewards.
Once the event begins, a soda stand will appear in the top left of your village. This is where you access the Hero Rush interface, view your contributions, check the clan leaderboard, and claim rewards. Pop elixir is automatically earned alongside any dark elixir you collect.
This can be done from multiplayer battles, loot bonuses, dark elixir drills, and the loot cart. Even dark elixir gained from defeating enemy heroes counts, making Head Hunters a valuable troop choice for this event.
Importantly, if your Dark Elixir storage is full, you will still receive pop Elixir from attacks, so nothing goes to waste. However, for sources like drills and the loot cart, you must have storage space to receive the pop elixir.
Contributing to Clans
Just like the Gold Rush, everyone in a clan works together toward shared milestones. Interestingly, the event allows help beyond the standard 50-member clan size, up to 100 contributors in total.
You only need to contribute at least once to qualify for any rewards your clan reaches while you’re a member. Contributions stack toward the highest milestone, and you can continue to help even after hitting your personal reward cap.
Rewards Earned
The rewards in Hero Rush are tied to the clan’s total contributions. 20 chests are available, and milestones range from 250,000 to 30,000,000 Pop Elixir in contributions, unlocking rewards like 750 Splash Medals, and more. The final reward is also a Clashiversary Scenery.
Higher tiers grant more valuable items, culminating in a large batch of resources and multiple potions. Unlike Clan Games, you can claim rewards as soon as your clan reaches a tier, but you must remain in the clan to collect them.
