Another Selection Contract is here and this time it is for the 30th Anniversary Special Big Time pack in eFootball 2025. Although this was exclusive for those who attended the eFootball World Festival Tokyo 2025 live event, we can access the link to claim the contract for free.
There’s no denying most of the players might have signed their favorites from this pack already. Still, for those who are yet to make up their minds, here’s my 30th Anniversary Special Selection Contract Guide to select the best picks out of the five in eFootball 2025.
Twelve players are available in total for you to select here, and to note, all are Big Time players from eFootball 2022. No boosters nor Show Time skills. Still, several cards hold their ground in this pack.
Ronaldinho Gaúcho
- Position: LWF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
Here’s a card that is a pick of many. Absolutely, the numbers on this card pretty much explain that he is surely a player you would want in your squad. Numbers in dribbling are pretty solid, and even if you cut down some progression points there, you see little to no difference.

He comes with ridiculous tight control, and adding to that is the acceleration that lets him burst past fullbacks effortlessly. Even in the passing and shooting department, he has good numbers, although you might wish more, you need to remember he’s a 3-year-old card.
Frank Rijkaard
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Orchestrator
Rijkaard is one of those rare deep midfielders who feels like a wall and a conductor at the same time. He’s defensively rock solid, reads the game well, closes down spaces, and absolutely thrives in tackles.

You’ll notice the aggression and engagement straight away, and when it comes to shielding the backline, he’s as good as they come. His defensive stats really carry the build. Tackling, positioning, interceptions, all top-tier. Passing’s also clean, with low and lofted passes both in the high 80s and even can be pushed higher.
There are players who use him as a CB, which he can easily manage, but as a DMF is what I feel he shines better. Make sure to give him Aerial Superiority and Heading skills, the needed ones for both DMF and CB positions.
Steven Gerrard
- Position: CMF
- Playing Style: Box-to-Box
Gerrard is a classic all-action midfielder here. powerful, aggressive, and capable of bossing the game from deep. He’s got everything you want from a box-to-box presence: strong passing game, elite lofted balls, and those signature thunderbolt shots from distance.

He goes to 102 with autobuild, and here, you can easily see passing as his best trait. High 90s, you can tone it down a bit for sure. He’s not the silkiest on the ball, and while he’s got some pace, don’t expect him to glide past players. Balance and agility aren’t his strong suit, so pushing those numbers becomes important.
Frank Lampard
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Hole Player
A strong AMF card here, ticks the necessary boxes in dribbling, passing, and even the runs and finishing department. From the numbers, he’s the kind of AMF who will arrive late in the box and smash in those long-range belters.

He’s not the quickest mover, which isn’t a necessity, but he can hold on his own physically, which was lacking a few Lampard cards. I see a lack of Balance could be an issue, so you might want to judge this on your own. Needs First Time Shot, he is a solid finisher.
David Beckham
- Position: RMF
- Playing Style: Cross Specialist
Completing the English midfield trio in this pack is Beckham. Crossing machine, his Lofted Pass numbers are so high that they don’t take a hit even if they decrease the progression for the same. This card can be compared to Lampard, although passing isn’t a match.

With those Curl and Passing stats, the idea is pretty clear: he’ll whip in deadly balls from the wing or pick out a runner from deep. For the playing style, RMF is a good fit, but if you can slap a position booster at AMF, he can work well as a right AMF.
Diego Forlan
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
Forlan brings that old-school striker vibe here. He would be a card that sharp in the box and can hit absolute rockets from outside, too. What stands out is his shooting versatility. Another plus is he’s got all the shooting skills you’d want.

He can also be the guy or link-up play, low passing mid, but has a decent lofted pass in him. I would say this card is a bit dated out tho, so I’m not too sure considering the packs we have got already, this guy would be an upgrade.
Rivaldo
- Position: AMF
- Playing Style: Classic No. 10
Here is a card I’m sure not many consider. Yes, that playstyle is a big turn off for many, but Rivaldo brings that elegant play you expect from a true No. 10. His ball control, dribbling, and tight possession numbers are high, so once he’s on the ball, it’s his world.

The card’s a bit slow and heavy compared to meta attackers, especially with only average acceleration and speed. But he isn’t built for that, though. You give him time and space, and he’ll make magic. He is rated a mammoth 104 at SS, and here this card is one of the best in the position.
Ruud van Nistelrooij
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Fox In The Box
I would call him a “sneaky” striker, this guy lives to score. Van Nistelrooy is a penalty box predator. The kind of striker who always seems to be in the right place. Absolutely high offensive awareness, stellar finishing numbers make him a strong CF.

Dribbling and Speed are something you might find a problem but for a FITB player, I don’t see it as an issue. However, the auto build surely misses out on heading numbers, so I prefer you cut down finishing a bit and allocate to his heading and physical number boost.
Claude Makélélé
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Destroyer
Makelele is the card that has some good reviews. For a DMF, he is a fantastic card. He reads the game like few others, wins tackles cleanly, and is always in the right spot to break up plays. You’ll love him if you enjoy the game of interceptions. Missed out on the Blocker skill, make sure to add it.

Passing? Surprisingly good, especially for a destroyer-type. He can distribute cleanly and make those quick first-touch releases. Heading is something that you need to take care of. As a double pivot, you can solve this issue by pairing him with a tall midfielder.
Roberto Carlos
- Position: LB
- Playing Style: Offensive Wingback
This card is pure mayhem down the left. Roberto Carlos feels like a bullet train with rocket feet. That 99-stat trio in autobuild: speed, stamina, and kicking power trio makes him a monster. Even if he’s not always positionally perfect, he recovers lightning fast.

Crossing, long-range shooting, and even free kicks, he can do it all. But yeah, his lack of defensive attributes and skills is a miss. He’s a tank yet best suited for bombing forward, defensive numbers don’t see a good push, so better allocate to passing.
Raul
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Dummy Runner
Coming with a playstyle that is a fantastic fit for those who know how to use it well, Raul also has a card that is a great fit across multiple positions. He definitely seems to make some smart runs, and he gets some clean finishing numbers.

His movement in and around the box is what makes him dangerous. With the right build, he’s also got decent balance and agility to hold his ground when it matters. Pace shouldn’t be a concern, as he isn’t your speedy forward to carry the ball.
Shunsuke Nakamura
- Position: RMF
- Playing Style: Creative Playmaker
Nakamura is the smooth card and kind of overlooked. He’s not that explosive, but when the ball’s at his feet, he is good. That place-kicking and curl stats make his set-pieces deadly, probably one of the best free-kick takers in the game.

His build is light, and you’ll feel that in physical duels because the numbers are nonexistent. Still a decent card, and comes with a solid player ID.
Purely on the basis of the player stats, here are my rankings:
Tier | Player |
---|---|
SSS (Overpowered) | None |
SS (Very Strong) | Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Frank Rijkaard |
S (Strong) | Rivaldo, Steven Gerrard, Ruud van Nistelrooij |
A (Good) | Frank Lampard, David Beckham, Claude Makélélé, Raul |
B (Average) | Roberto Carlos, Diego Forlan, Shunsuke Nakamura |
C (Below Average) | None |
I have tried a few cards here, and the review is on that basis. Some cards sadly don’t fit the current meta, have very superior cards already live in the game, but still some picks like Ronaldinho, Rijkaard, Rivaldo and even van Nistelrooij to some extent are strong picks and work their magic in the game.
However, I recommend considering a few things here, too. Lampard, as a Big Time, is the only card that comes with a Monumental Celebration. Also, if you are going to opt for Beckham, he isn’t usable in any of the Club events since he only has National Team affiliation.
