It looks like the undersea world of Bikini Bottom may soon meet the heroes of the Land of Dawn, as the rumored Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) x SpongeBob Squarepants collaboration is reportedly confirmed. Back in January 2025, MOONTON Games launched surveys for this exciting crossover.
Leaked assets and trusted sources hint at a confirmed Mobile Legends x SpongeBob collaboration
If you’re unaware, MLBB conducted a skin survey back in January, asking the community about their opinion on who should get potential SpongeBob collab skins. Now, six months later, the buzz has returned, with popular leakers like abyssal_mlbb sharing a leaked themed Killing Notification.
He is known for accurate leaks, and these notifications usually appear only when these collabs are confirmed. Adding to that, leakers like Xcalibur, ML Leaks, and even Kazuki Official have also stated that the collab is now confirmed. And as expected, the community, and even I’m excited for this one.
In the earlier survey, ML players were asked which heroes should get the collab skins. For SpongeBob, the options included Cyclops, Diggie, and one more. Patrick’s choices were Franco, Bane, Khufra, and Gloo, while Mr. Krabs’ included Bane, Chip, and one more.
Cyclops, Gloo, and Bane may get collab skins, but it’s not official yet
From the looks of it, Cyclops seems like the perfect fit for SpongeBob’s skin, and he likely got it. Gloo might finally be getting a collab skin, too, as Patrick and Bane feel like the best choice for Mr. Krabs. Their styles align well, especially Bane’s pirate theme matches with Mr. Krab’s money-hungry nature.
While there’s no official mention of Sandy in the survey, we can expect her to appear too. MLBB usually includes one female skin in such collabs, and Sandy also got a collab skin in Supercell’s Brawl Stars. So, I believe she is either getting a skin or something at this event.
Moreover, many YouTubers are even talking about Squidward arriving as an emote, similar to Itachi Uchiha, and more, in the NARUTO collaboration. That said, as of now, there is no official announcement or confirmed launch date from MLBB. Everything is still unknown, so stay tuned for more updates.
